This is my second time working with Don and Homefinity, and I highly recommend them. Very responsive and they simplify the process to make home ownership and refinancing a breeze. I'm not sure they're a real mortgage company. Rather, they shuffle money around through Mortgage Brokerage services. They asked for all the usual verifications, but then I realized they hadn't even given me a pre-approval! Most companies that request bank statements and such have already given pre-approval. Then, they ask me vague questions about my credit report "who is factual data?" and act like it was something bad - when in fact, since they were looking at the credit report - they knew exactly who that was - MY existing mortgage company! When I checked my fica scores - every single one was above 700 yet they gave me a low-ball number.My rating is considered "very good" with other desirable aspects such as no delinquencies etc. Finally, after being jerked around for a few weeks, they asked me to verify another source of income - to put it in a category that would've been an all out lie. To add insult to injury, the loan officer kept calling me "hon" yeah right. I'd be careful about going with this company. The whole tone of the transaction changed when I wanted to use my local title company, and it got nit-picky weird from there on out. Waste of time and now rates are creeping up.

The homefinity team- David B. And Darrell D. took really good care of us to refinance 3 properties at once. They were responsive and patient to help us execute on a very specific strategy with our mortgages. Deducting one star for the client portal which was a 1 star experience. The system was seemingly not built to accommodate more than one mortgage at a time. Paperwork was not able be removed, edited or corrected once it was in the system which resulted in multiple iterations (and multiple reminders for incorrect paperwork) for each version of our paperwork. Being able to decipher which system “actions” were legitimate vs aged required us to lean on David/Darrell to know exactly when action was needed on our part. The technology needs some improvement but we’d be happy to work with them again. The rates were among the best we could find.

Just completed our third loan with JT, Justin, and Kim. You couldn't ask for better experience and service. By far the most seamless loan/closing we have ever had. Not only do they offer the lowest rate but they take the time to explain everything and walk you through every step of the process so you always feel comfortable and know what is going on.

We did our closing today and Ryan and his team helped closing the loan in 30 days. They are very professional and customer-oriented help you navigate the process in a seamless way through the loan process. Our experience with Jordan, Ryan, Heather and Wendy is awesome and we will recommend Homefinity to all prospective borrowers. It is one of a kind experience and we fell in love with their professional and timely help in refinancing our loan. Thank you Homefinity for a wonderful experience!!
