The staff helped my granddaughter so much. This is her first apartment and they couldn't have been more helpful, courteous, and friendly to make it so much easier for her, and me. Every time I called with a question they answered it with very helpful information. I would have given them more than 5 stars if I could.

May 6, 2024Thank you Patricia. This is so nice of you to recognize our staff. We hope your granddaughter is doing great!
I rented from RIS for a little over a year, had a really positive experience with this rental company. Cheryl is wonderful to work with, definitely recommend them!

May 6, 2024Thank you very much for your honest review. I will pass it along to Cheryl as well.
If I could rate this property a 0 star I would so do it! My mother lives in one of the apartment and staffing sucks! The very first day she moved in the apartment was not even clean as it’s supposed to be. Floors not vacuumed, blinds stained, kitchen dirty just horrible. They wouldn’t even refund her part of her deposit for not coming to a clean apartment as it should. Her apartment roof has been leaking since the start of February 2024 and a maintenance request has been put it. Last thing I knew was that a roofing company would be coming to take a look at it on 2/13/24. We haven’t heard anything since then! I tried calling the property manager Nicole Mushaney which she sucks at answering the phone. I literally had to drive up there today to speak to her because she won’t answer. When I get there and explain to her the issue of why I’m upset all she says is that they are still waiting for the roofing company to get back to them. I tell her that they should be telling us stuff like this and keep us updated because communication is not good with them and how it makes it seem like they completely forgot about our request. Nicole still had the audacity to say “well you guys can always call back for a follow up”. What kind of “property manager” says that? If there’s something wrong with the apartments and they are working on getting it fixed they should be the ones to call back and follow up with what is going to happen to get it fixed, not us! I spoke with the roofing company after leaving and they mentioned how they need to look at the neighbors apartment because it seems like it’s coming from there but they need approval first by the neighbors/property manager. All of this makes it seem so obvious that Nicole isn’t doing her job as she is supposed to! Very bad staffing, I do not recommend this place!!!!

May 6, 2024Dulce, Thank you for review. It was difficult to understand what all you needed done at this apartment. It sounds like we understood the roof was possibly leaking, but it ended up just being the a/c and it took a long time to get the a/c in stock for the replacement according to the heat and air company. We are sorry for that and for anything that we should have communicated to you better.
Stay as far away from these scumbags as you can. Nicole Mushaney is a liar and a thief!!! They stole my security deposit. House is full of mold. They will straight up lie to do whatever they can to steal from you. I would NEVER, EVER recommend them to anyone. Nicole Mushaney should be fired! I would put negative stars if I could.

May 23, 2024Casey, this review is actually very untrue. Thankfully, Nicole follows the lease agreement very well. You broke your lease, you lined up "friends" to move in and take over the lease, but when they saw the condition you left it in, they refused to move in. This sounds like an issue between the two of you. In addition, when Nicole performed your deposit reconciliation, she was MORE than fair at what you were charged for breaking the lease. She acknowledge the unfortunate circumstance of your friends not moving in and taking over the lease, as you had thought they were and only charged you the minimum. You should actually be thanking her rather than lying and blasting her on this platform. You should rethink how this situation played out and understand that you could have been charged rent to the end of your lease rather than what she did do for you. Shame on you.
One of the worst places I've lived . Their apartment complex have roaches and when I asked them to come and spray THEY DO NOT SPRAY , they only lay down sticky traps . When my heat wouldn't stop running they took 8 days to come and look at it . And when they water heater busted and was leaking all over my floor and the hallway that took them 2 days to get to . Then they charge you an outrageous amount of "damage repairs and labor" literally taking advantage of people needing somewhere to live . I'm NEVER recommend them . Century is a much much better place to rent from . Also the front desk lady at ris is so rude ; and lost my first 2 months of rent money orders and were charging me late fees for 2 money orders they found sitting in my "folder" . Just a hot mess all around with ris .
Average real estate.
Still waiting on our security deposit after 2 months of moving out. They will not return our phone calls and have not sent us anything by mail.

Jul 20, 2023Neva: We have sent the deposit reconciliation to the forwarding address given on South Gate Blvd. I have asked your manager to reach out to you to confirm that this is your address. You may also call Nicole at the office anytime. You will not be getting back your deposit due to damage to the home. Your current balance due is $1,142.50. Again, please make sure we have the correct address for you as this balance due will be turned over to a collection agency after a certain amount of time.
⚠️BAD ⚠️ BAD EXPERIENCE!!! ⛔️ bad customer service and properties.
I had the worst experience during my stay in their apartment. Unreliable people and thier rules are mocking. Their aparments are full of roaches and the atmosphere is full of cigerrette smoke. They are betraying people and loot money from them . . .
