I am from Michigan, My water pump went out on my Chevy Silverado 2500 Duramax Diesel while visiting friends in Hudson, Wisconsin. So my friends suggested Next Generation Auto repair shop. I took my truck there and it was fixed within 2-days. They repaired my truck in a timely manor, reasonably priced, gave me a Veteran discount, and were very respectful and attentive to my situation. I had a great experience with Next Generation. I was kept in the loop on the progress, my questions were answered thoroughly, and their waiting room was comfortable. My car was finally fixed THE RIGHT WAY! I would definitely recommend giving them a try!

Update: I've been back twice since this initial review and I still give 5 stars. I'm given quotes, updates, staff are friendly, and I like that they have coffee, water, and some snacks while you wait. Prices are reasonable in my opinion and this time I got 20% off. I will continue using next gen as my primary auto repair shop. Joe and rest of staff are great! They're always honest with what needs to be done, what can wait, and they tell me exactly how much things will cost. Got my rear brakes replaced today and a free tire rotation. I don't live in Hudson anymore but I make the 50 minute trip because I trust them.

I was broken down on the side of the road (was pretty certain it was my transmission) on a Thursday evening. Called around to shops and none could even look at my vehicle until Tuesday the following week. When I called Next Generation, they were so kind and told me if I could get it towed there they would look at it that day before they closed at 5. AAA took a bit longer than expected, but Next Generation looked at my vehicle first thing Friday morning. Car was diagnosed, repaired, and picked up by early afternoon. VERY impressed with their service and professionalism. Will definitely be going back for future repair!

I have come here twice now to get my car repaired and have had great experiences both times! They have always been quick to get me in, and are great at keeping me informed of what's going on through the whole process. They never make me feel bad/stupid for not knowing very much about cars when I bring mine in, have never tried to get me to repair things that are not necessary, and have great customer service overall. I would definetly recommend!

MartiJo and Joe made this experience a lot better than it started. Yesterday morning my dash lit up a check engine light and a wrench and it was not accelerating the way it should. I took the car to the dealership and they did a diagnosis but were unable to do the work. I tried two other dealerships and was told I would have to wait almost two weeks. I left the car at Next Generation Auto and had the car back the next day. Now i don’t have to worry on the 250 mile road trip I am expecting to drive in the next few days. Thank you.

Amazing!! Had a vehicle towed there on a late night, called in the morning, they fixed multiple issues and had it ready that day!! I cannot say enough good things about this shop & the Baldwin location, our family will be using Next Gen Auto from now. Very friendly staff, extremely knowledgeable mechanics and they won't try to sell unnecessary parts or have miscellaneous phantom charges. U can trust them with your vehicles.

I was desperate finding a mechanic to get my car in that was having issues starting. I called Next Generation and they were able to fit me in next day! I dropped my car off in the morning and was immediately impressed on the customer service! I didnt catch her name but the lady at the desk walked me out and took notes on my cars issue. She was so incredibly nice! They found it was just a very corroded battery (thank goodness!) The price was by far the best of anywhere! I was able to pick up my car that same morning and while I was there, I noticed their oil changes were better priced than the quick stop I usually go to. I mentioned to Joe that I just had my oil change at another place and surprised they didn't catch my weak battery. He said they do a complete check with all oil changes! I felt heard and respected here! It was also so clean and offered refreshments:) They made my car issue so seamless! I'm a customer for life! Thank you so much!!
