My daughter and her husband have a had a very difficult time trying to rent an apartment. Been ready to move in but was told not until the first which is on a Monday despite the apartment being empty and ready for almost a month. Now either they are not in the business of making money or someone doesn't know what they're doing. Either way its cash thrown out the window. They were told the previous people moved out but paid until the end of the month. If I was them I'd be jumping all over it to move someone in asap. Not the manager in Hastings Nebraska.

I think I would rather be homeless than pay this company to live at one of their complexes. The employees that operate the Sunridge Apartments in Fremont NE that use unethical business practices. My husband and I paid a security deposit and application fee. We filled out an application for a unit. We had another location become available that better met our family’s needs so when our applications was accepted, we told them we were no longer interested in this complex. We were then advised that our security deposit would not be returned. We were told they held the unit for us and turned away other applicants and this was the reason they are retaining our security deposit. They referenced a paragraph from the applications that stated if we fail to sign a lease within three days after approved, they may keep the application deposit. I told management that at no time were, we told we were paying an application deposit. We were told we were paying a security deposit. According to Nebraska Revised Statute 76-1416 (2) a security deposit can only be used to pay outstanding rent, and damages. We requested our security deposit be returned and are still waiting for a response. If you choose to rent a unit from Perry Reid Properties, please use caution when giving this company your “security deposit”.

Just had the worse experience working with Jamesa in Johnston, IA. The property is Mansions at Hemingway. My 30 day notice fell on a Sunday (office closed) so the next business day, I submitted my notice (making it technically a 29 day notice). THE GREED of this property manager said she would disallow it. I was a loyal tenant for over 1.5 years. Never caused a disturbance, never once late on rent. I am appalled and disappointed with the Property Manager Jamesa. I would recommend that you give you money to another deserving property in the local community.

I have lived at a Perry Reid Property for the last year and it has been amazing. The staff is always so helpful. We always have fun resident appreciation events. Living here has been a dream. Could not recommend it more. Also, Bailey is always a huge help and found the perfect apartment for my boyfriend and me.

They never respond to phone calls from prospective renters. If this is how they treat people considering renting from them, I can't imagine how they treat people that are contractually obligated to them.

As a vendor to Perry Reid Properties, my experience with the entire staff is pleasant to say the least. They are always professional, courteous and responsive. It is a joy to work with them!
