My wife and I just had the worst experience with Jeff Cook reality, we were trying to buy a house in Summerville S.C. This is the most DISHONEST company I have ever dealt with the deal fell through because the people buying our house backed out at the last minute. And the deal was based on our house selling in GA. To close deal in S.C. After that we asked for our earnest money to be returned 3000.00. And the agent Ginger who was representing the the sellers said that her clients had been emotionally damaged was entitled to our money. So we tried to contact Mr Cook but we were told that we weren't allowed to contact Jeff Cook and he doesn't have a listed phone number so they wound up taking half of our money. They said that the sellers got half but they gave us no proof. All I can say is this a very dishonest company beware this company will keep part or all of your eranest money I would not recommend this company to anyone. And I am in the process of filling a complaint with the proper SC state office for realestate. I wish I could give them a lower rating than one star. BUYERS BE WARE.

While Jeff is our CEO, all questions should be directed to the agent's Broker-in-Charge, as they are the agent's direct supervisor, and will have knowledge of the transaction in question. While we are available, we do suggest that you use your chosen representation (agent and attorney) to communicate as they are required to act in your best interest if you have a written agreement. According to the written agreement we had with the seller, we are required by our license to work in their best interest as is your chosen agent. The attorney you chose to hold the earnest money would be able to give a receipt/confirmation of where and to whom all earnest money was released, according to the release signed by all parties. We are sorry to hear you did not have a good experience. Our goal is for all sides to have a great experience while interacting with our company, while working in the best interest of our clients, the general public, and customers. Unhelpful agents with a minimum $6,600 commission. Won't sell smaller land deals that aren't a guaranteed windfall for them. Can't recommend, at least this office. Hopefully all of this realtors agents aren't representative of "Lowcountry Laziness" like this office!
