Good diagnosis, good work with all different imported cars. Reasonable price
I highly recommend them. They are fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and honest.
Honest, knowledgeable mechanics and friendly staff. Very helpful with answering questions and providing clear explanations as to what is going on with your vehicle. I would highly recommend.
Excellent service!! They quoted me about $350 less than International autos, for an inspection on my Audi. Definitely coming back here and would recommend this business to anyone!!
Great place to work! If your car gets serviced by Bernie you won’t be disappointed.
Needed an estimate for service on a porche the price was a very fair price
We just discovered Import Minded on a recommendation of a coworker. At this point we have had three wonderful service experiences. Most recently, I needed my new tire repaired, I called in the middle of the morning and they were able to fit me in at lunchtime on a Friday. With today's labor shortages, I was highly impressed with this service. They got my car in and out right away. Our first experience was breaks, roters and tires on our 2017 Volvo. We have previously only had this vehicle serviced at the dealership. The quote from Import Minded was several hundred dollars less. The parts used were high quality. Four months later 0 problems with the work performed. Our second experience was with our daughter's Nissan. It needed new tires and had a noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. During the quote process, we were given feedback on the different tires available, as we are typically used to one particular brand that was much more expensive. We asked questions about the brand and received knowledgeable replies. This was also our experience with our Volvo quote process. So we had the tires replaced and they diagnosed the noise complaint. What we loved is they gave us a quote to fix the problem and told us, it was not an absolute necessity to have it repaired right now, but soon. There's a true feeling of honesty at Import Minded, no high pressure sales. Also very patient and knowledgeable when giving quotes via email and not trying to upsell the customers. Thank you for taking good care of our families cars!
Never returning here. The manager tried to charge me $1,000+ for replacing the oil and claimed to have found metal in the oil pan while claiming that "there may be an oil tube leak." I visited another auto shop, and they did not charge me $1,000+, and my car runs flawlessly. They won't show you the evidence of metal in the oil pan; this shop could be better. These males think they can exploit women, but I'm a woman first.
Reply from the business:
May 24, 2023The attitude portrayed in this review is exactly why we declined to service your vehicle and you were blacklisted in our repair order writing software after your visit. The actual story: Customer walked in without an appointment stating a concern of an oil pressure warning as well as a concern of a bulb out warning. Customer was explained that diagnostics would be required to determine the cause of the oil pressure concern, customer was presented and signed the repair order as well as given a copy. The vehicle was diagnosed and confirmed to have an oil pressure issue. Customer was contacted at that time and given estimates for potential possible repairs that may be required to address this issue before proceeding any farther forward. The customer was also made aware at this time that an oil sample was taken and the oil was extremely dark and fine metal particles were found, caused by operating the vehicle with inadequate engine oil pressure. Customer was advised that it would be advisable to remove the oil pan and verify that there was no blockage of the oil pump pick up tube. Customer authorized proceeding forward, then called back and declined to proceed. Customer then began belittling the service advisor stating that nothing was done and disputing paying diagnostic charges. At this point the customer was informed that their invoiced would be zeroed out, they were requested to pick up their car and to not return. The customer returned the following day requesting to proceed forward with the recommended next steps and was informed that their vehicle was no longer permitted to be serviced here.
