Not happy at all. I think they don’t care about cars with minor collisions at all. I got a collision with a garage pillar and the passenger side rear door/quarter panel had some dents. The original estimated repair duration was 4 weeks. After leaving my car here for two weeks, I got a message saying my car had been sent for painting. In the third week, however, I got a call notifying me that they found another damaged part that needed to be replaced, and they had just ordered the part, which led to a delay of 1-2 weeks. I don’t know why they needed three weeks to figure that out. Do they really know how to inspect damaged cars? I have no idea. Another possibility was they actually just let my car sat there with no progress for three weeks, and then started the work in the last week of estimated period. At the same time, they just kept sending out fake messages to pretend that they were working on my car. Trash. I will move to another state in the same month and this shop is giving me a huge anxiety. I had to choose this shop because they are a partner of my insurance company. If your time is precious and you do have a chance, just avoid them.

After a minor accident, I needed to get my car into a body shop for bumper repair. I immediately thought of Gerber and called this location since it was the closest to where my vehicle needed to be towed from. Right away, the female employee who answered said they would take my car, but wouldn't be able to start looking at it for 1.5-2 weeks! Another location told me they legally need to look at a vehicle in their shop within 48 hours of its arrival. This definitely turned me off and I took my car to the other location.

Has had my auto for over a month. Multiple emails stating my auto was near completion. Then was told 3 ‘major parts’ were on back order and could be weeks to months before completion. Meanwhile Ive been driving a friends vehicle, otherwise price of rental would be well over $1500 at this point. Asked the company for a loaner vehicle till my auto was finished. Was rudely put in my place saying they already have gone above and beyond for me! By making phone calls searching for back ordered parts. WHAT??? Doing what? Your job? Was called by The Market Manager of Gerber Collision after writing this review. My auto won’t be done for a while because of back ordered parts, but they did give me a vehicle to drive at their expense until mine is done. Thank you Gerber Collision for putting an effort forward and making things better…

BE WARNED!!!! Gerber Collision is by far the worst body shop I have dealt with. To start, the estimator is combative, would roll eyes when asked questions and never answered questions, only gave excuses. Second, after “finishing” repairs on my 2022 Tesla, every repair they made came back botched. The color match was off (could be seen from 10+ feet away), the steering is completely wrong, and they caused damage to a door sill. Their response: color match is close enough, I have to take my car to Tesla to prove the steering is different (an out of pocket expense), and I have to “prove” they did the damage to my door sill. Also, the adjustor would flat our lie about how repairs are done to cover the mistakes. I called a professional shop I have worked with previously, told them about the situation, and they confirmed the estimator was only saying lies to get me to take the car. Furthermore, when the botched steering was initially brought up, the ENTIRE front of office staff, including the estimator, gaslit the situation (maybe its because you haven’t been in the car for awhile, maybe its different because its cold out, why would you want it “looser” + eye rolling). My once incredible Tesla handles like an old Toyota Camry, has new damage to it, and the color looks horrible. Never bring your car here. If you do, be ready for the worst experience you can think of, and an estimator that is horribly rude and makes you feel dumb for asking questions. Bring your car to the collision repair center in MKE or Chicago instead. UPDATE: BE WARNED, you will only get help if you post your issues with GERBERs services publicly, as seen below. What is most disappointing is all of the issues above were discussed both in-person and on the phone. After initially rejecting the car, and stating all of my issues with the staff at Gerber, the manager called me the following day. I was told all of the fixes were with within spec, which meant I had to get the car that day. Gerber is now trying to make things right, but it's too late. I don't have a rental car to use anymore and cannot continue to have my time wasted, just like before. NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE, BE WARNED!!!

The one good thing about this place is that they were friendly and I appreciated updates from Sydni. The reason they get one star is for several reasons. Car looks fine compared to what it was, but it still isn't acceptable. The car door that they worked on now makes noises everytime I close and open it. Somebody ruined my WHITE CLOTH seat by getting black stuff on it. The rest of the car dusty, front windshield looked like somebody sprayed something on it and wiped half of it off. Pictures attached of another complaint that I simply can't explain. My car repairs got delayed a week, which would be no big deal, if my car came back in the condition it should've. This is a leased car that I have, and sadly now the value of my car is lesser, because of mistakes that Gerber's shop made. Ugh I don't know what to do, other than give them the review they deserve.

After reading all of the reviews online we were very concerned with taking our car to Gerber but the insurance recommended them. Much to our surprise we had a great experience. We received a call from Gerber right after the insurance claim was filed. Gerber scheduled our estimate within a week of that call. We took the vehicle in for the estimate which took a few short minutes to review the damage with Sydni our estimator. She emailed the estimate within a very short time. We scheduled the work for the first of the week following the estimate. The vehicle was dropped off on Monday, we got an update on Tuesday via text that our vehicle was on track to be completed on Thursday as promised. On Thursday morning we received a text that they were finishing up and to expect a text to coordinate to pick up the vehicle. By early afternoon the vehicle was confirmed to be finished and ready for pick up. The gentleman showed us the work that was completed and the warranty packet and we were on the way. Sydni our estimator was great. She answered questions as they arose and was very professional. We had asked her about polishing our headlight lenses and she said they could do that but most of the time they cloud back up. Low and behold she had them polished for us as a courtesy. After our experience with replacing a front bumper we would return again and recommend them to others. Thank you!
