Do NOT take your vehicle here unless you have to take it somewhere else to get fixed for bigger problems that they have caused. My wife took her Jag in after driving it from Central Mo with no overheating issues and when she FINALLY got it back it overheated and the cost is $7000 for Jaguar to fix it. This place is under new ownership as of 1 Aug and they are scammers. The owner makes all the decisions and is NEVER AVAILABLE. BE WARE OF THIS COMPANY.

The team here is great. Love the diagnostic videos. I’ve had two repairs done here to an older BMW and both were great. For the bigger repair they presented several options (dealer parts, after market, salvage) and recommended the cheapest option. They did great work and it came in under the estimate. Everyone is friendly and professional.

I reached out to Bret's Auto works because they work with CarMax in repairing cars sold at their dealership. I told them what the issue was with my transmission;they tested it and gave me a call back promptly to let me know what they found and the estimated time of repair. Matt said it would probably be at least a week before they got a refurb trans so they would probably have my car for a week to 10 days. I actually got my car back 4 days earlier than expected. They found an issue with the wheel bearing and fixed that too. Great service!

We have used Bret's for years, and have had repairs made on all of our vehicles. Over the past couple years it seems their charges have been high, but we have continued to use them. We recently brought my daughter's vehicle in to have a repair done on the driver's side door when her outside door handle came off. Their quote for parts and labor was $983. This seemed very high and with our past history with Bret's I decided to call two Mazda dealers to get a price on the parts the service advisor at Bret's said were needed. Parts were lower at the dealer and would be received in 1 day compared to 3-5 days. Luther Mazda is making this repair for $432! This is less than half of what Bret's was going to charge us. I will never use them again for any of our vehicles.

The Bret’s team is always so friendly, trustworthy and informative. We have taken our cars here for years and have never felt like we’ve been asked to pay for a service that wasn’t needed. We would definitely recommend!

Gave Bret’s a try after another local shop said the outer tierod had excessive play and needed replaced before they could do an alignment. After checking myself and not finding any play in the any components I took our infinite to Bret’s and they agreed. no play whatsoever in any steering components and performed an alignment quickly! Highly recommend them!

I left my car there Monday night knowing they wouldn’t be able to look at it Tuesday after having called and being told that they should be able to look at it first thing Wednesday morning. They didn’t end up looking at it until Thursday afternoon. Once they did actually get it in to look at it the process was relatively quick, albeit a little on the expensive side compared to some other shops I have gone to. I was also not given a call once my vehicle was done on Friday, so when I was given a ride it was a guessing game whether or not I would still be waiting upon arriving.

I was very unhappy with their service. They ended up going through my car looking for my lock key messing up my glove Department lifting up my seats in the back going through the back of my truck all my things instead of just calling me and asking where it was. They even had my AC on while they were checking my truck. Then they called me 30 minutes before they close to let me know what was going on. How was I able to get there in time and they weren't even open on Saturdays I just was unhappy never going back again.
