Cute and shop has all things lavendar. Would be nice if restrooms were readily accessible....had to enter from back field area.
We have been here twice and both times were the end of August. Still plenty of lavender to take photos and the sunflowers were in full bloom. We enjoy walking the grounds and just enjoying the fields. There weren't many butterflies this time around, but we saw plenty of 🐝
It was a fun experience to visit Fragrant Isle. It was at the end of the season and most everything had been harvested. When going to Washington Island you must plan to wait for the ferry. We had to wait 1.5 hours to get to the island. We took our vehicle. On the way back we waited close to an hour to return to the mainland.
Everyone loves the lavender...of course. But my group loved the Tarot card readings!
Extremely rude to individuals with a disability! I have a service dog and was told not once, twice but 3 times no dogs are allowed. Now mind you my dog has the service animal vest on. The first two times, I politely told the ladies he is a service dog to which they were like oh yes that's fine, I didn't see that, but the third lady as we were about to check out still questioned it after I had told her he was a service dog and had a look on her face of utter disgust. I literally felt so discriminated against that we put all of our things we were going to purchase aside and left. Horrible experience. I'm so upset and feel severely judged. Not a welcoming place whatsoever.
This little shop is very nice. The smell is absolutely wonderful if you enjoy Lavender. They have Lavender EVERYTHING! Lavender lip balm, soap, fragrance, potpourri, ice cream, cookies, Carmel, macrons and all kinds of other lavender scented items I probably forgot to add. They also have a beautiful lavender field that is absolutely beautiful If you get to the island while it’s in bloom.
