Words can't explain our gratitude towards the owner and his worker tonight. Me and my daughter traveled down to the area for my cancer treatment at froedert. When we ran into truck problems this man and his employee both stayed 3 hours past closing time working on our truck to make it so we could make the 2 hour drive home. Excellent service and help from this company. Thank you both so much.
You get what you pay for. He replaced my high performance, high flow, after market exhaust with a stock, restricted flow exhaust. My truck doesn't sound or perform like it did when i took it to him. When i suggested he put the correct muffler on it and i would pay the difference, i was tild i would have to "eat it". He had it for 7 days and never said a word about replacing it with something completely different. I'll take it elsewhere next time and gladly pay "full price" to have the job done right.

I just love how they try to destroy you by completely lying about everything in their review just because telling the truth would just make them sound like complete idiots. They need to lie and try to make it sound like we're the worst people in the world. Not even stating anything that's half the truth. This guy came in here because only because his tailpipe was broken off. Never mentioned anything about a performance exhaust. He even called his Bank tried to stop payment by stating he had a dual exhaust and we just installed a single exhaust really? Do you actually that anyone is going to believe you requested a dual exhaust system and we only installed a single exhaust and then expected you to pay for it. Come on be for real. Well haha your bank called me and I told them exactly what happened that was the truth of course. So guess what they denied your claim haha serves you right for lying. This guy's tailpipe was broken off that's the only reason why he brought it here. He just wanted a tailpipe installed we couldn't install it because the muffler was all rotted off. So we put a high quality Muffler originally exhaust system that came with the truck and a tailpipe onto his vehicle. We even rewelded up front where somebody else tried to weld and the weld broke to make the car whisper quiet. It was whisper quiet it was perfect. So he calls me on the phone after he picks it up and says you guys did a wonderful job the only problem I have is it's too quiet?. I was like what? I thought the guy was joking. How can your vehicle be too quiet? He said I like my truck so that I can hear it. Well if that's the case he should have just left it with the holes in the muffler. He expected me to remove his exhaust and put another exhaust on it until he finds the sound that he wants to hear. What is this guy crazy I'm not going to sit here and go through Muffler after Muffler until he gets the sound he wants to hear. You know buddy if you're exhaust isn't loud enough not a problem bring it back I'll drill some holes in the muffler for you until you get the sound you want to hear. Just another winner. It has to be something in the water. Ask for it taking a week your muffler took 3 days to get here. Nobody had it in stock I had to order it.
First thing I notice was the hospitality this was my first time coming here and they make you feel like you've been friends for years. Also I LOVE how knowledgeable the owner and the mechanic are I felt like I was a my barbershop hanging out with the guys just talking. The number one thing I like is the prices if your looking for GREAT service at an affordable price come to Half Price auto in West bend. This my new mechanic shop like my own personal barber lol
At least 1/4 Price Auto uses Genuine Gorilla Tape and authentic JB Weld. This place uses the cheap stuff.

Apr 24, 2024wow. It would be nice if you actually told people what we repaired and why you are so angry. So since you can't tell anyone who reads your review what actually happened I will. You bought your own rack n pinion online because you were going cheap and didn't want a quality part so after we installed your part with 0 warranty from us it started to leak right away. Well thats what happens when you buy a cheap part online and then it fails and now you have to recourse except to blame your faulty part on us. Just think if we purchased the part for you and it failed right out of the box we would just have installed another part free of charge on us but you didn't so guess what you get what you pay for. We caused $2000 in damage wow you sure are a heck of a liar but we really know the truth don't we. Thanks for trying to make us look bad. Just so you know if anyone Broke your cold intake it would have been you installing it since we weren't anywhere near your cold intake and if we did ever break anything we would have fixed it before we even gave it back to you. Hey what can I say must be something in the water out here. My advise buy bottled water.

I am so grateful I trusted my gut on this place. Everyone was telling me there was something bigger wrong with my car and that they’ll rip you off. I left with my wallet in tact on a simple fix and trust to do more business here in the future. Owner’s a goof. We like those ones (: thx guys
John just replaced the transaxle in our 2015 Ford Escape and the vehicle shifts and drives so smooth now it's a pleasure to drive again. John always goes the extra mile and stands behind his repairs plus he treats his customers the way he would want to be treated with respect and courtesy. Thank you John and Robert for always delivering great customer service!
Knowing how busy things can get..the shop did a good job.. would have been nice to get a more than 15 minutes notice that my car would not be ready till next day. Should have told me the driver door panel came off.
I've been looking for a new auto shop closer to my house. My car needed an oil change so I decided to give Half-Price a chance, especially with all the good reviews online. Getting an appointment was horrible - I called, and they said they were booking out 2-3 weeks. I said I would make the appointment through their website then, as I needed to look at my calendar. I requested an appointment in 2.5 weeks on their website and never got a confirmation. When the appointment date came, I called to ask if it was confirmed and they said they never check the website requests and don't make any appointments through their website. This was never mentioned to me when I told them I was going to make the appointment through the website on the first phone call. So then I had to make appointment another 2 weeks out, so it took me over a month to get in for an oil change. When I went for the oil change, I asked for a full synthetic oil change. They gave me a semi-synthetic oil change. Every interaction, they acted like I was the biggest inconvenience to them.

Sep 24, 2023awww sounds to me like your just a sensitive little guy. I personally wouldn't wait that long to get my oil changed but that's just me I would have just taken it to the nearest quick lube they can do it right away while you wait but then again its not FREE like us which I'm sure you already knew however you can always ask maybe they will give you one for FREE if you ask nice and not charge you $50 to $100 like everywhere else. I'm sorry we lost you sounds to me like you would have been a great customer. Also we give you what you ask for not just give you what we feel like giving you. We have cameras with microphones and after reviewing our conversation we can clearly hear you say semi synthetic sorry you don't know the difference when asked.
John is the best!!! He is honest, does a great job and goes above and beyond to help. Had to be towed there twice in a week- flat tire and then a problem from work done prior to John. Got my truck back yesterday. Perfect! Highly recommend Half-Price Auto Repair!
