I Did not have a good experience at this shop. Took car in for oil leak. I was told the problem was I needed a new gasket. I and insurance co authorized work. Work was completed. I found this out 2 weeks later car still leaking oil after checking my fluid levels and could see oil present and leaking. Took my car back to midcoast and was told by owner “we fixed the problem your car has multi gaskets we can take car in and check to see if others are leaking and repair if you like.” The total for previous work was well over ” $1000 Why was I not told this in the first place??? this was a waste of time and money.

Feb 24, 2024Pam, you came in 4/13/23 with an oil leak concern, in your 2003 Chrysler Sebring. We located 4 total leaks causing this to be one of the messiest oil/trans fluid soaked engines we have seen in a long time. We did have to partially degrease your engine just to locate and show your warranty company to problems. They agreed and covered a large portion of your repairs. You returned 6/23/23 to show us that a leak had returned. We look at and confirmed the oil pressure switch was also a problem, leaking an showing a faulty reading on your display. When we called it back into your warranty company it was denied part coverage. The total to finish out that repair was $203, parts and labor. I understand it can be frustrating when we weren't able to completely resolve the leakage in one visit, but Jr tried to explain to you how bad your leaks were previously and offered to help with this repair. To which you chose not to have us help complete. If something with the previous repair changed since we last saw you nearly 7months ago, I urge you to reach out to me. Jon
