Great car wash, a little over the top with needed repairs, but I get the fact not everyone is in tune with their cars as I am.
Good work
I wasnt gonna leave a review for them charging me $600 to replace and idler and clean a throttle body after having to google the problem but after seeing them feel entittled enough to park in walmarts handicap spot for 45 min with no tag or mirror hanger i felt it was needed

May 24, 2023Andy, we have not seen you since 2020. We did not replace any idler or clean the throttle body, nor drive your car to Walmart in 2020. I am sure you have confused us with some other repair shop. Please take down this post. Thank you, Greg Satori
We had an older car for many years that we really liked. It needed exhaust repaired. Brought it in and were told it would cost thousands of dollars to repair this rusted out car, that it's dangerous to drive and would we want to look at his new car lot. Also pushes credit card when you can't afford repairs and is judgemental when you tell him you are going to wait on fixing things.Very arrogant owner. Anyway, we thought the car was junk based on what he told us and sold it for a few hundred dollars (it was worth 2500 in good condition) and having the other party trailer it. The other party called us later, said he normally doesn't do that but wanted to let us know the car could have been fixed for hundreds of dollars not thousands, that it was nowhere near as bad as we were told and he wanted to let us know we should get a new mechanic.

We have been in business for 25 years and are respected part of the Manitowoc Community. We are a past recipient of the Chamber's "Small Business of the Year" award. We feel it is our responsibility to look out for our customer's best interest. If this entails not perform work on a vehicle that is so rusty it is unsafe, instead of blindly repairing something and taking a person's money, we will live with reviews like this one. Satori's Auto is my favorite local mechanic. The service and inspections are top-notch, they have loaners and rental cars available, and are partnered with a very good body shop/collision center. Foreign or domestic, whatever needs attention, Satori's can take care of it for you!
