Sean, Tom and the other technicians at Capitol Tire are the best! We have been using them for many years and they have always been honest, fair, and efficient. I even have called them from Arizona and asked about something that seemed amiss and they gave me good advice. I recommend them highly.

Great Service, Super competent, Reliable, Honest - they don't do things you don't need, Very reasonable prices - they don't overcharge.

Had been loyal customer of Cap Tire for 30 years, but Shawn recently retired and sold the business. Last week took to Cap Tire for check engine light. Was told needed oil change and more. Pointed out recent oil change per sticker on window, oh wait they removed and tossed the sticker! $200+ to hook up to diagnostic machine was told need new gas cap and purge valve for hundreds more. Took to reputable mechanics who found the purge valve hose had been disconnected. Said check engine light could have been due to not tightening gas cap properly. Hooked hose back up and all is well! I recommend Conant in Stoughton the get the kind of service we USED to get at Cap Tire.

Always love the personal care at Cap Tire. Been a customer there for twenty years and always find them friendly and knowledgeable. They emphasize ensuring that my vehicles are running safely, and do the job right, but they're also able to find the least expensive solution to keep old cars running so as to avoid burdening me with repair costs greater than the value of my car.

These people are absolutely fantastic! I will definitely be back!!! I took my vehicle somewhere else to get tires put on. Afterwards, my vehicle was driving very poorly. The other place couldn't get my vehicle in, so I called Capitol. They got me in the same day, to make sure my wheels wouldn't fall off. And then the next day for repairs!!! I have a big, cross country trip planned and Capitol made it safe to drive my van again. Highly recommend!!!
Capitol Tire has been our sole site for auto service and repair since we moved to Madison in 1981. For sure, we are satisfied!
