Their prices are too high. Seems like you are overcharged. The work that they did on my car I found out I could've got it done for 200.00 dollars less

I cannot comment about the actual business, but my review is about the people that work there. Dustin was great - very helpful and information. Dale, however, was the opposite. He made me feel like I was an inconvenience to him. When I called to explain what I wanted to have them look at, I told them what I thought needed to be inspected. I'm no mechanic, so I gave my best details of what I thought. When I called back the next day, Dustin had diagnosed the problem to be a ball joint that had some play in it, but unfortunately he can't get the part. When I went back to get the car shortly after, I spoke with Dale. He said he hadn't looked at the car yet. I told him that I spoke with Dustin who had already looked at it, that it was a ball joint issue, and that this location couldn't get the part for my specific car. He said to me "Well, then why did you even both bringing it to us if you knew what's wrong with it?" Um, what? I told him AGAIN that Dustin told me what was wrong and that I needed to take it elsewhere to be repaired. He said "Ok" and basically threw my car keys at me and went back about his day like he was glad to be rid of me. Worst customer experience I have EVER had in ANY company EVER. Dale needs coaching or he needs to go!

Went there for an inspection but never got it. Was told that I have a transmission problem & went for a second opinion & was told that I don't. No codes or lights on in my car either.

They changed my oil and I was done in no time at all. They're always so friendly and honest.
Dale was the best. I been going to firestone for years & always get treated with upmost respect. They also show you the problems with your vehicle.
Rearranged work, drove 30 minutes and arrived ten minutes before a scheduled appointment to be told I should re-schedule as they couldn't get to my car for several hours. Prior arrangement was that I would be waiting while service was preformed. Might they have called me to delay my arrival or reschedule? Did not reschedule and won't be back.

Came in later on a Saturday and the tech on-duty saved my truck! Had my oil changed earlier in the day by another outfit, came out to a puddle of oil under it an hour later after visiting with family in Janesville. Made it here with a stop on the way to add more oil, he was able to diagnose that the prior outfit had misplaced the gasket on the filter, even though it looked like it was in correctly. He got my truck back to right, and was even cool-enough to lift the truck up and hose the underside of with degreaser and water. I live 20+ miles away, but will likely come here for service going forward.
Quality of repair = F Customer Service / Complaint resolution = F We visited this Firestone for a flat repair while traveling through the Janesville, WI area. The tire was replaced with a new tire within a few hours. In less than two hours, the new tire blew out, resulting in a roadside assistance call, several hours of waiting for assistance, and ultimately a hotel until a business opened that could fix it the next morning. There were no Firestone dealers in the area, so we took the Vehicle to a competitor that was open on Sunday. They were able to repair the tire. The cause of the new tire's flat is documented on the repair receipt as a loose valve. The repairing technician stated to me that the Firestone technician did not correctly secure the valve when they installed the new tire. There was also a lug nut stud with stripped threads, we suspect that was caused the tire installation at Firestone. I called this store and asked to speak with the manager. They stated that the manager would call me back the next morning. (He never did). I completed an online survey and was told someone would contact me within 48 hours (they never did). I called the 800 number to file a complaint and was told I could not file additional complaints and that someone would contact me that day....no one ever did. No one I talked to would allow me to show them the documentation of why I believe the technician failed to safely and correctly install the tire. Everyone I talked to was friendly, just not helpful. I took the vehicle to a local Firestone in Minnesota, and they fixed the lug nut stud as a gesture of good will. They were unable to help with the financial impacts associated with towing/hotel/additional repair/time lost. But they did seem to care. The BBB gives Firestone Complete Auto Care in Janesville, WI an F rating, and I concur with that rating. The staff at Firestone Janesville commented on how the great the movies playing in the lobby were both when I dropped the car off and again when I picked it up. If I had to guess, I would say they are more interested in that than delivering quality work. My rational for choosing this business was that I needed urgent repair and I had bought my tires a year ago at a Minnesota Firestone with a warranty. In the end, it would have been better to have driven a few more miles and paying more for a new tire and better/correct service. But I had no way of knowing that at the time. In case it's not clear, my opinion is don't go here for any reason.
It was actually a complex experience for the past year of sending my car over there for car services. They generally did a great job suggesting you to replace the parts that needs to be replaced. My car came there with off-steering for the first time and they found that was a broken joint ball and the tires need alignment. Overall I am satisfy with their services. However, a few things bother me to give a 5 start rating. First, my L lower joint ball was replaced in Oct, 2021, and the same joint ball and the control arm was found need to be replaced (causing that side of tire needs to be replaced after only 5 month of use in 5/2022. It is definitely not normal! I went to the shop and they said they would do some investigation and call me which I never receive any call from them. Another thing is their advertisement may be misleading sometimes (especially in conversation). I thought I was told that that replacing their tire could get a lifetime free wheel alignment. Apparently I was wrong, they offer you lifetime free check for your wheel alignment, not free for performing wheel alignment. Otherwise, I probably would not replace a bit overprice fair quality tires from this brand.
