Matt and the finance manager really went above and beyond by continuing to work on getting me approved after getting denied from multiple banks I had given up only to wake up the next day to a phone call informing me that they continued working to help me out succeeded and I could come get the car I wanted. My experience at st j subaru left me shocked to find a happy balance between professionalism and compassion thanks guys

Tried Local. Not again. The lease went okay except for the part when the guy in the suit decided we were not buying any of the heavily pushed on extras at then end. The tone changed. Cocky and irritated sums it up. Our salesperson-Rose was awesome and gave us a good deal despite the way the male suits seemed to treat her as a subordinate as she worked hard for us running deals in and out. Regardless, we left moderately happy. We felt it was a good deal that was local and fair. Serviceable right here in our own town. As for service... The first service appointment we were so impressed! Now it is time for snow tires. We talk to someone on the phone who was friendly and quoted the tire prices for us. We took the soonest appointment available to put the tires on. So we show up the next morning to purchase them and they try to charge us $10 more than the quote per tire. Fortunately someone in the back honored the price. Then we find out we need to bring the tires home with us..."Can't we leave them here? We have car seats in our car and it is only a few days until the appointment"? The answer was NO. So we wonder "What if we just buy them at the time of the appointment to save all the hassle"? Response is a high pressure answer that they might sell out by then. We then made the purchase and brought them back to our home for the 5 days (weekend days included) before returning for the soonest available service appointment. We drove around with these snow in the car, not having a good place to store them, with two babies, groceries and life-being inconvenienced only to arrive on time for the appointment to find out that they are behind and it may take them up to 2 hours to do the tires. Mind blown. That is St. J Subaru Service! My time is valuable which is why I make appointments. This is not good service or what we were sold as top notch service when we bought this lease. Being local with new babies we were looking for safe and convenient. A simple call letting us know time delays would have been sufficient and RESPECTFUL. We will lease/buy elsewhere because of this experience. The attached picture shows what life was like for us for 5 days due to their "top notch" service. I got rid of my Audi for this local convenience. Wow.
I went in for a state inspection, oil change and a tire changover I was there for nearly 3.5 hours. When they finished they came to tell me they ruined the bead while putting the tire on and that they were going to order a new one. Fine. I signed my paperwork and went on my way. Fast forward to now a month later I call to check on the status and the tire has not even been ordered. They don't have the brand or the size written down so I'm concerned they don't even remember which tire at this point. I have also driven nearly 5k miles so the tires will not wear evenly at this point. I asked for a refund of what I paid for the 4 tires so that I may buy a new set and I am catching grief. I should add I also purchased my car here. I buy cars every few years and have three vehicles to service and Saint J won't get my business again.

We picked out a used Outback online and went in to see if it was still available. Rose helped us locate the car, we went out on a test drive and then went back to work the numbers. We got the deal we wanted, and Cole in Finance got the rest of the paperwork done quickly. We left with our new to us used Outback just a few hours after we arrived. No pressure, no upselling, just an overall pleasant and stress-free experience. Would recommend St. J Subaru to anybody in the market for new or used car!
