Called to ask about swapping snow tires. They said walk in only, we open at 7pm, come on down. Woke up extra early, waited in line and was abruptly told in a fairly rude way that they would not mount my tires because they were new tires. Their claim was that they couldn't be trusted not to damage the tires putting them on and they didn't want to be liable. What a load of ... So they will swap a used tire but not a new one from elsewhere? Oh but they will put a new tire on if you buy it from them... right. If this is your policy to try to dissuade their customers from buying tires cheaper elsewhere to later have installed locally, at least be forthright and tell you customers when they call and ask about swapping tires so you don't waste hours of someone's time and then lie to them about we might damage your tire. Oh the irony coming from a respected tire shop. My wife and I will never give these guys are business again. She's had her own issues with the Manger. They have a lot of happy customers so I'm sure they'll gloss over this but maybe you might not...

May 25, 2023Jon, We apologize that you believe the price for your tire was high. If you look at your invoice, you will see that the tire, installed, was $219.95, with an $8 disposal and $6.50 tpms reset. This totals to $234.45. You drove here on a completely flat tire, which destroyed your tire pressure sensor as well, which was $69.95. This brings your total to $304.40. This was more than just a tire. If you take a look online, at tirerack.com for example, you will see this tire alone sells for $265.99, without installation. You would have paid just as much, if not more, anywhere else, even going online and buying the tire. Good service. Took me around 1.5h on a Saturday morning, but given how busy they are, it's not unusual (there's only walk in, so that flexibility is kinda nice, you can really save time if you show up as soon as they open their store). Plus reading Google reviews ahead of time, I had that mental prep, so I brought some work with me, and they have a very nice lounge area where you can get work done. Got all season tires, will be back after 50 miles for torque check. Was given the price quote ahead of time, so that was nice too.

I have gone to Wilson Tire for the past several years. They are the only ones I trust to put on tires. The whole crew there is amazing. They all work so hard, I always get excellent customer service there. Thank you for all your hard work!!!
