Awesome service, went there for my NH state vehicle inspection and was 2nd in a line (no appointments needed). They checked it under an hour and let us go. Matt was super helpful and informative, great business!

I don't know whether it's coincidence or not but two days after I got my car inspected there, one of my tires went flat because of a nail in it. The first nail I've gotten in a Tire in 10 years.

We are sorry you got a nail in your tire, but us doing a NH inspection on your car doesn't have anything to do with that. We do a dozen or more flat repairs a day. its incredibly common with all the road work, and construction going on for this to happen. Leaving a negative review because of bad luck isn't helpful to us, or any of our customers.

Sold us tire then refused to put them on because they were the wrong size and wouldn't refund our money

Jessica I just checked with all three of our stores, and there is no history of you ever being to any of our locations. Do you have the right tire shop?

I must admit, I made a mistake by bringing my EV to this shop. Unfortunately, they have a strict policy and are unwilling to assist if there is any puncture in the sidewall. I feel that they quickly made a decision without thoroughly examining the issue. It would have been helpful if they had taken the time to inspect the foam inside the tire and locate the exact point where the nail was coming through. As a result, I ended up having to replace all four tires, which cost me a hefty $1500. Wilson is well aware of the challenges faced by EVs and yet chooses not to offer more cost-effective tire options. After sharing the picture online, I received an overwhelming response suggesting that the tire could have been patched, or at least an attempt on this one should have been made. I even took the picture to two other garages, and they both confirmed they would have attempted a repair (They were even closer to me than Wilson!). It's disappointing to realize that I chose a place that I believed would prioritize customer care, only to be let down. Here are a few suggestions I have for Wilson: Consider investing in a tread wear machine, as these are readily available. By wearing down the tread on a single tire, you could have saved me $1100. Given the growing popularity of EVs, it seems like a worthwhile investment to explore. Expand your tire inventory to include more affordable options. There are plenty of tires available in the $800-1200 price range at your distributors that are suitable for the EV I own. Which is the highest selling EV of all time... Make an effort to be more flexible and accommodating to your customers, especially when it comes to patching rules. It would be greatly appreciated if you could work with customers to find suitable solutions, rather than adhering to strict guidelines without exceptions. EDIT: Added photo of my puncture so others can gauge whether or not wilson will hit them with replacing all 4. In the end it looks like I could have and should have patched it myself.

John The puncture in your tire, was in the shoulder, and close to the sidewall. when the technician laid the bottom of the patch, over the puncture location, the edge of the patch was on the sidewall. I admit, there is a very SLIM chance it could have held, but its a safety issue for you, and a liability for us. All the weight of your car, is held by the sidewall of those tires. EVs are much heavier then most cars, and the tires that come on them, wear extremely prematurely as it is, so taking that risk is not something we will do. We understand its not convenient to have to spend that kind of money on tires, but the Tesla OEM tires are expensive in all the sizes. We do typically stock the less expensive options, but we had sold the set we had, and had not received the sets to replace them. As far as a tire shaving machine goes, We will not purchase one of those, as it makes the tires ride rough, destroys the Sipes in the tires, and makes them noisy. Just because it can be done, doesn't mean it should be. The guidelines we go by, are the vehicle manufacturer guidelines, and the tire industry guidelines. Tires on AWD and 4x4 vehicles in most cases, have to be within 2, and 3/32nds of an inch of each other because it can cause damage to the AWD. That isn't our rule, that's the vehicle manufacturers. Vehicles have much tighter tolerances today, then they did 20 years ago. We plug/patch tires every day. We are as accommodating as we can be, while still following the guidelines of the industry. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us. Thanks

Nice tire shop but be aware that will not allow you to deviate on tire sizes beyond .03% from stock tire. I’ve been turned away on 3 different occasions just to have tires put on elsewhere for tires that are simply a 1/2” taller than stock.

Hi Larry, Thank you for your comments, and I am sorry we didn't get to have a more in depth conversation about your 1998 Volvo. However the Tire Industry Association, ( they help with rules and regulations for the tire industry), dictates that we are only allowed to change the overall diameter by a 3% +/-, and the load index and speed ratings must meet or exceed the speed rating that comes on the car. If one of these criteria is not correct, then we can not and should not install the wrong size. While I did not see what you were currently running on the car, the size you asked for is greater than the 3% allowed, and that is why we were not willing to put them on for you. There are still plenty of tires made in the correct size and speed rating for your model Volvo. I assure you, had you come in asking for the correct tire fitment for your make and model vehicle, then we definitely could have found you some tires. If you value your time, take your business elsewhere. I was made to wait 2.5 hours to have snow tires put on. They don’t take appointments because it is inconvenient to them to manage. They clearly do not care or value the customer’s time, so take your business elsewhere.

Mr. Saydjari We're sorry you left here with the impression that we don't value your time, because we do. We value every customer's time. You came in just before 7:30, after the initial crowd of people had already come in. You left at 9:30, which is 2 hours. Book time to change tires on your car is 2 hours. The reason we don't take appointments is not because we can't manage time, we do manage our time, every day. We don't take appointments because we can do three times as many cars in a day this way. We understand that you spent a lot of money on two sets of tires, but almost everyone else in the showroom that morning and most other mornings had as well. First come first serve doesn't work for everyone, but it does for 98% of our customers, and we tell everyone this when they ask for an appointment.

No appointment needed, just get there early. Otherwise, leave your car and it should be ready by 4pm.
