Our car broke down on 95 on our way home from a road trip. I called to see if we get it towed to them and they were friendly and upfront about how busy they were. We needed massive repairs and Noah was extremely communicative with my husband about everything going on with the car. After all was said and done when my husband went to pick up the car it made it the 8 hour drive home without any issues. Noah made a stressful situation manageable. Nothing but good things to say about this shop! Even our tow truck driver said it was the best shop in the area!

I had been to four Mercedes dealerships and Mercedes repair shops to fix my top and a few other problems. All were unable to repair my 2008 Mercedes convertible. I called Auto Works in Kittery and described my problem. They replied, "we can fix it." I replied, how come you can fix it and the others can not? The manager responded, "we can do the tough ones."

If I could write a love letter to autoworks I would, and I would send the biggest bouquet of flowers I could find. They were our saving grace this morning. Last night driving up to the northern most part of Maine from Massachusetts, We noticed that our truck was leaking oil aggressively. We ended up getting a motel and googling a repair shop. My fiancé took our truck to auto works this morning, before they opened. He was greeted by Ian and a few other gentleman who were just arriving to work. He explained our situation, and Ian was more than happy to assist. Ian went above and beyond to help us out. My fiancé said they were nothing but courteous, professional, and very friendly, and we could not thank you all enough. We are now able to hit the road and continue on our road trip to our daughters graduation. A big thank you isn’t enough to express our gratitude. 10/10!

Stopped in for a suspension check. Luckily everything checked out, so it was a quick visit for me. Every staff member greeted me with a friendly “Hello.” Clean, quiet office. Sodas/water in the waiting area. Nice to have this local option to service my Beamer.

I made an appointment here as it was close to my work and I could walk back and forth once my car was dropped off/done. I went in for a simple oil change/inspection which cost me $105 (not unreasonable). They told me I failed my inspection due to my tires needing to be replaced (i was expecting this). They quoted me almost $1,000 for tires, Mount and balanced. I told them to hold off and I wanted to shop around on my own. They told me once the tires were replaced, I could come back and get the sticker within 30 days since I paid for it anyway. I found tires on my own and called back to ask a price on mounting and balancing. They told me it was $29.95 a tire ($120 for all four). I made an appointment and they told me I should also have an alignment done which would be another $120. I made the appointment and dropped my car off at 7:30am. I had not gotten a call by 4pm so I called to check on it. They told me they didn’t have time to do the alignment but could get me in the following week for that. I went to pick up the car and they tried to charge me $175 for mounting and balancing after they told me it would be $120. I refused to pay the $175 and they ended up charging me the $120. I made an appointment for the following week for the alignment to get done. As i was driving home, I noticed they never put my new inspection sticker on my car which now has the tires I needed to pass inspection. I called immediately and they told me they’d throw it on at my next alignment appointment. Alignment day comes and I drop it off again at 7:30am. J called around 4pm because again, no call to let me know if it’s ready or not. They tell me it’s ready and I can come get it. I go to pick it up and the guy tries to charge me $165. I asked what that included and he said the alignment. I told him that they quoted me $120 for an alignment TWICE. He then said “okay, $132.95” and j asked what that included and he said the alignment and the inspection sticker. I told him that I’ve already paid for the inspection sticker at my first appointment and just needed the sticker since I came back within the 30 days. He dropped the price to $120 and I went out the door. As I walked to my car I noticed that my car still didn’t have a new inspection sticker. I went back inside and they had someone come out and do it but I shouldn’t have had this many issues and had to come back so many times. I will take my business elsewhere next time!

With the new billing practices I can no longer afford AutoWorks. $124 for an oil change on a small sedan. Quoted over $1000for brakes on a minivan. Quoted $1200 for strut replacement. It’s too bad because I love the location and history I have with the mechanics. Going elsewhere.

Fantastic customer service. Brought my car in for tires and alignment. They explain everything thoroughly. Ian was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend.

Brought in my treasured 2012 Mercedes E 350. Was visiting family in Kittery from out of state. Needed an oil/filter change. Autoworks was thorough, friendly, prompt, and took the time to explain what was done, and the oil/filter brands that were used. Very pleasant experience.

Work as billed was done well, although it took 2 visits over a month apart. BUT, by not following my written P.O., which they tossed, they missed doing one of three requested services. So it took 5 weeks to get one low tire sensor replaced.
