I went to this location in January to have a simple fix. The next day the car was making the same noise only worse. Brought it back, they “fixed” it. About a month ago it started making the same noise. I called to inform them that it’s making the same noise that I brought it in for in January. Was told to bring it in. I told them I needed a ride to my job and to be picked up, “no problem” and that they needed to contact my job if they needed me, my cell did not work at my building. When the time comes to be picked up no one is there. I give them ten minutes and call. There is a bigger problem with my car, but they are sending someone now to come get me. When I get there the manager tells me that the serpentine belt is not the issue, it’s something larger that will cost $163. I tell him go ahead and do it, but tomorrow. As no one called me and told me what was going on and I wanted to go home. On my way home my car was not making the same noise. So I called back saying I couldn’t afford the cost of the repair right now. The next day my car was worse so I called and said please order the part I will drop it off Monday, also I need and oil change please. Monday comes and I drop off my car. The mechanics didn’t know why I was there, they where not expecting me, but gave me a ride to work and agreed to pick me up again. Again I told them to please call me at work if there where any issues. The time comes to be picked up and no one is there. Again I waited ten minutes and called only to be told that the part to fix my car never came, and my car was not together. I said I still needed my car and needed to be picked up. When the finally came to get me, and brought me to pick up my car, it was magically put back together and it was indeed the serpentine belt that I initially had repaired in January, which should have been repaired the week prior. I also never received an oil change. The new manager does not communicate with customers or staff and when I called back to speak to him he still tried to sell me the piece I didn’t need. The mechanics are kind and knowledgeable, but I will not be returning and do not recommend.

Will always recommend this location! The team is awesome and quick. Came in on my lunch to grab an oil change and they had me in and out in no time. Great job guys!!

A HUGE thank you to manager Jessie! He helped me through a very frustrating situation by going above and beyond in resolving an issue with a car I recently bought from Carvana. They sold me a car with bad breaks and he was able to get them to do the right thing and pay to get them fixed. Thank you Jessie!!!!

Excellent service at Monro. I brought my car in for inspection and ended up needing an alignment and brakes, all of which were completed the same day. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate me that day and it is greatly appreciated. I will certainly be back for future services.

Another place I'd been using wanted big bucks for front struts and an alignment for my wife's car, so I decided to call around. My second call was to this Mono service center in Amherst, MA. It was during - not after - my call with Jared, who answered the phone, that I knew that I'd be giving this shop a try. He exuded confidence in both the shop's technical abilities, his experience with my car's make and model, and the near certainty to be far better on pricing. Jared asked a few questions, explained much in detail, gave me a phone estimate, and kindly offered to put 'er on a lift and give me a full breakdown without commitment. I was short on time but drove over that afternoon hoping to return for service another day if the pricing was there. When I got there, I met Jared, Jessie, and other members of their team. Jared drove the car first and then, on the lift, checked the car in detail. Importantly for me, he showed me everything he explained. He had me touch the parts, feel the differences, and listen to sounds as he related issues, causes, and corrections. He confirmed the struts needed replacement and I asked him to replace one of two mufflers that I suspected an issue with and now got to see for myself. Very thorough walk-through with a very competent technician. They never tried to upsell me as they checked linkages, sway bars, bushings, and the like. They called for part availability, gave me an estimate - which was significantly lower than the other shop - and offered to have it done before closing. Sadly, I had no ride home and needed my day for other matters. Immediately, Jessie - the assistant manager - offered me a ride back home in his personal car so I could come back later when the bride was home from work. In the end, they beat the "other guy's" pricing by a very significant margin and even came in under their own much lower estimate. I also learned a lot about one of our cars, and after conversing with Jessie, who could not have been more pleasant, on the ride back back home (which wasn't exactly next door) I am 100% certain I will be a repeat customer. I am VERY happy with this shop, Jared's work, and Jessie's wonderful, customer-centric way of handling circumstances. I could not be more pleased to have discovered a competent, honest Service Center. What a great find! I will surely be saving myself some money in the future. I was so happy with my experience that I was eager to leave this review and to highly recommend this Monro service center to anyone in the area.

They don't respect the customers opinion they want you to do what they say so not what the customer wants it for their customer service is shity and most of the time they're trying to scan you when you're trying to get a simple oil change with regular oil they want you to get the synthetic which is a lot more expensive even if your car doesn't call for it..they are horrible scammers

I made an appointment for an inspection and oil change, showed up on the day and time only to find out they are currently not performing state inspections, because the employee who does them left the company. They let me know at the desk that they didn't call me to give me a heads up because they still wanted to take care of the oil change. I let them know a heads up would have been nice, since I made an appointment for the service. An appointment generally means that the person has a select time available to receive a service. I will not be going back.
