As a first time homebuyer, the first thing I did was Google "best lender near me." I ended up talking to Jeff and really liked a) his previous reviews - all stellar and b) that he was local in Charlotte. I compared a few quotes and Jeff's was not only the best for me, but I found an abundance of comfort knowing I could call him up any time and he would always pick up or call me back. Jeff also explained a metricFton of things I didn't understand in a very digestible and professional way. It speaks a lot that your lender guides you through what is typically a very stressful and chaotic process. Jeff was with me through two houses, including one which fell apart due to the sellers being dishonest. But he was there at the finish line with me as well, and helped me apply my sellers credits very creatively, significantly lowering my closing costs. Truly, I can't say enough good things about Jeff and Mecklenburg Mortgage. I recommend Jeff and think he's a pretty good guy too!

Working with Mecklenburg Mortgage for my home loan was quick and painless. It’s a long story but I switched from a different lender to Mecklenburg Mortgage halfway through the closing process and Jeff Muth was able to meet the same closing date with no issues or delays!
