In the process of locating a qualified repair shop remotely I was fortunate to find a AAA approved facility nearby my parents home in Wausau. From the initial phone call with Josh the process was seamless. Our 2014 Subaru outback was given a complete inspection report including a detailed list of repair cost. Very knowledgeable staff incredible customer service and no surprises. The repairs were performed in a timely matter, consistent with the quote provided. I’ve going here for years. The experience is always extremely pleasant with customer service. I don’t want to put words in their mouth, but I would say their motto and business model is “We’ll tell you what should probably be done and you let us know if you want us to do it. (Not a high pressure mechanic’s garage or auto dealer that makes every decision/service detrimental). True story, I heard them come out and tell a single woman “You could do this, but you really don’t need to have it done yet.” I’ve experienced the same advice from them myself. Very professional and they won’t mislead you into getting unnecessary things done to your vehicle. That and the fact that they offer pickup and drop off of your vehicle for maintenance or “loaner vehicle” and will give yours a clean bath free of charge, there’s no place better in the area that I know of, I couldn’t give a better recommendation for service.

I blew a tire on my way to work yesterday morning. Without hesitation, they told me to bring it in and they would squeeze it into their very busy work schedule. They were able to patch my tire and also provide a last minute oil change while my car was there, all in the course of a work day. Everything was very last minute but they were so accommodating and they saved the day with their prompt and courteous customer service! I will always recommend Olson Tire and Auto, they truly care about their customers and make bad days a little better!
