I'm the owner of the Dirty Willys. I cannot tell you just how wonderful Chris, Kathy, and their team is! Words fail. From the very beginning, Chris spent a lot of time explaining the process of restoring and modifying my truck. I had never done something like this and had millions of questions. He guided me through all of it. Step by step. Zack, Nate and Jeff have incomparable talent and skill. If you could see my rig up close, you'd know my words to be true. I can't end without mentioning the videography and editing. I was moved to tears watching the videos week after week. It's an experience that makes the journey so much more meaningful! About 5 years ago my daughter and I went to Legendary customs to look at a rambler station wagon. I was impressed with Chris's work and my daughter was impressed with his honesty, and his craftsmanship. Unfortunately I was too big for the rambler. I showed Chris some pictures of a 65 F 100 I wanted to build into a nice daily driver. I was living in Kansas City at the time, I put the truck on a rented trailer drove it to Des Moines Iowa, Chris met me there and took the truck and trailer to his shop. In 8 months I had a truck of my dreams. Two-tone blue short bed satin paint, fitted to a 2011 crown Vic highway patrol car with 25,000 miles on it. I still have the truck and drive it only when the sun shines in Florida. The truck can be seen on his web page from beginning to end and everything in between. Bill Pearson

Chris and his team at LC did an amazing job building my truck (The Dirty Ford). They were collaborative, practical and extremely knowledgeable. The entire project was very enjoyable for me and the end result is truly spectacular. I've worked with a few other custom car builders before but Chris and company are by far the best I've worked with. They are excellent problem solvers and always found a way to get me exactly what I wanted cost effectively yet in the highest quality. I guess the best thing I can say is I will be building with them again and Chris and I have already started discussions on the next the Legendary Custom.
