Bought a salvage vehicle. And he straighten out the frame for me.
When I was in an accident and didn't know any local place to take my car, Schlafer Auto was beyond helpful and professional! Even though my car ended up being a loss, I can't say enough about their level of customer service.
A little late to the party with this review - I used Schlafer to fix my son's car in 2019 after his first accident (into our house) just 25 hours after passing the driver's exam. Schlafer did an outstanding job on the vehicle and also kept the price low which we were thankful for.
Joe was our hero! We were in Mendocino on vacation when our truck started having engine trouble. We were able to get it to his shop. When it wasn't able to be repaired by the end of that day, Joe gave us a ride back to our rented cottage. Then picked us up the following morning when we checked out. There were some complications and we had to leave to get back home to Nevada so he took us to Fort Bragg where we rented a car to drive home. Joe was able to diagnose the issue that week and repair the truck. When we drove back the next weekend he had not only repaired the truck but also washed it inside and out for us. It's running great now. He truly went out of his way to help us out. And his prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this shop!!!
