Jul 24, 2023Thank you Nick!
I was referred to Jason from another shop that didn't have a diesel mechanic. I told Jason I had a 1995 Ford F350 7.3 that had a leaking rear fuel tank, and that the front tank wasn't working due to a fuel filter light coming on and telling the engine to shut down, (Twice Benna Ford in Superior, and another shop in Superior (that fixed other issues and got me to be able to drive my truck back and forth to my house 12 hours away) and a shop in Michigan that corrected 19 sensors were unable to fix this issue.) I drove the truck 2 miles before the engine shut down on the front tank, and my batteries wouldm't charge, and had to be towed in. Jason changed the rear tank, had the truck in behind the shop for pickup. I came to pick up the truck, and it was set to the front tank, wouldn't crank over, and when I realized it was set to the front tank, it was too late, wore down my battery cranking it before I could add more fuel to the rear tank and try to start it again to failure....batteries were dead. Left a note in the box explaining what had happened. Jason called me the next day and asked what I wanted him to do, I said to change the batteries and start the truck on the back tank. He said they weren't used to older trucks, (it's a 95, and I told him that when I made the appointment....). It appears that the work was never tested, I drove it 3 times before someone stopped me, because I have a new diesel leak pouring out of the engine, and the spare tire support was not reinstalled upon completion of the fuel tank replacement. I must have an electrical issue that is causing the batteries to last less than 1-1/2 years, Jason recommended a shop but now, don't think I'll trust that.

May 24, 2023Sorry you weren't satisfied with the repairs. We weren't ever able to get this truck started because the batteries were just to dead, but the truck was left with us like that and we assumed you knew it needed to be jumped since it was brought to us that way. We did get it started and ran the truck after batteries were installed. I talked to and was very honest, saying I wasn't comfortable working on this electrical system I wasn't that familiar with, especially after how many other shops weren't able to repair the problem. I told you straight up I didn't want to waste your time and money and that issue and recommended a shop that specializes in electrical repairs.. it is your choice to not take the recommendation.

May 24, 2023I am sorry you felt like we didn't do our job to leave us a one star review. We strive really hard to make sure our customers are satisfied. Can you tell us what the issue was? We understand this was a difficult repair due to the amount of rust, but we thought we were fair in our pricing. Is there anything we can do to remedy this?
By far best diesel mechanic. Kept in contact with everything
