Hi Ryan. There is a charge for the tech to bring the vehicle into the shop and check out what is the cause of the customer concern. If we didn't charge to do this, the techs would be spending several hours a day checking out vehicles without any money coming in so they can get paid. In all service industries there is a charge to have an issue looked at to determine the cause of the problem that you are having. Just as if I have a water or gas leak and call a plumber. They are going to charge me a service call to look at it, and it's normally a minimum charge of an hour even if they are there for only ten minutes. It's what they need to do to pay their employees and operating costs.
