No idea who these guys think they are fooling. Had folks at O'Reillys hook up there computer, which is very accurate, to my car to diagnose the problem. Technology has caught up people. Stop charging folks ridiculous prices to hook up your computer. Told guy what was wrong with car and still want to charge well over $100 to hook up their computer to car. Guy hung up on me after I started to say I'll go else where b4 I was finished. Poor customer service. I guess there are enough people who are not informed to keep them in business.

All do respect, Sean, computers still do not fix vehicles. Technology has actually made technologically advanced education a much bigger challenge in diagnosing a vehicle problem more accurately. When O’Reillys hooks up its computer to your car is just shows a fault within a system on your vehicle. There is NO fact that tells it what repair is needed. That information is to be used as a first step in diagnosing a vehicle. If you have any questions, we ask you to contact ANY reputable automotive repair facility, and ask them the same question. We repeat, ANY reputable automotive repair facility. We also understand a customer’s frustration with this. Please remember: We did not make it, we did not buy it, we did not break it. We are just trying to fix it honestly and professionally at a fair price!

I went to the shop with two working headlights and when I left I had one working head lights and my Bluetooth plug in was gone. Tan Chevy Impala you know who you are

Poor service. First problem with car initially fixed and claimed was ready to pick up - arrived with dash pulled apart still, wouldn’t turn over, and argumentative vs problem solving. Claimed it was a bad battery (just had it replaced a month before) then claimed it wouldn’t start because it was in their lot for a week. Brought to different shop and shared previous claim that they believed ecu failure due to water damage from leak. 4th street auto shop in disagreement and reporting wiring harness cause of issue and previous shop unwilling to work with warranty of ecu. Also they like to foreshadow “alll the work they will have to do for possibly hours and hours” - be wary and get a 2nd opinion. No leak as they claimed. Good luck ✌️

After multiple mechanics and a local shop was unable to diagnose my van's problems, Josh at Five Star figured out the likely problem before even getting it into the shop. A previous mechanic mis-diagnosed the problem as a PCM or TIPIM and it cost me hundreds of dollars for unnecessary parts and over a week of no vehicle. I brought my van to Five Star on Friday, they gave me a loaner car to drive and on Monday I had my van back. I was blown away at how inexpensive the repair was. (they discovered the problem was my ignition). I also used them on a different appointment to replace my EGR valve. This time it was so quick I didn't even need a loaner car. Luckily they have a clean waiting room with recliners, TV, free coffee and hot chocolate and a well stocked vending machine. They charged me LESS than they originally estimated. I was very pleased with the service. They didn't get my van dirty like the previous mechanics, they were courteous and polite and they started working on the van right away when my appointment started. Some of the other shops in Superior tell you when to bring the vehicle in, and then maybe get to it in a few hours, or even the next day! I would absolutely recommend Five Star Auto to anyone needing mechanical or electrical work on their vehicle.

I brought an older vehicle in that another shop was unable to diagnose. Craig and the crew at five star was able to diagnose and fix the problem,my van runs great! Thanks again!

My 2007 Ford Freestyle, all of a sudden I couldn't turn the steering wheel easily, turns out the air conditioning condenser seized-snapping the belt that runs the whole car. Five Star was the only shop that was able to get my vehicle in, diagnose the problem, and fix it!! The other shops reported short staffing and weeks out from service. I am thankful for the prompt and professional service I received, and I am Happily driving the vehicle I enjoy.

Craig & the Crew got my Lexus GX 470 with an AC issue in on short notice this morning. Serviced my AC blowing 38 degree air by the early afternoon. Service outstanding & price competitive, getting me in when we called “Priceles”

I called right away on a Friday morning, just after I got notified by another shop that they had to cancel my appointment for that afternoon. Josh told me if I could get my car there soon, they could get me in and out that day. WHAT?!? That never happens, so I took the opportunity. They treat me well at Five Star. They communicate with me throughout the process. Their people say hi, ask how I'm doing, and they wish me well every time. Their work is top-notch, prices are fair, and I trust they know what they're doing. I highly recommend Five Star!

The peace of mind knowing they’re going to be honest is more than enough reason to come here! I appreciate how straightforward and knowledgeable they are as well. Not too many places will take the time to tell you needed information, give advice or call you to see how your vehicle is running after. They’re so nice and professional.
