Great business. I went in to get my brakes and rotors replaced. The guys were very friendly and knowledgeable. When I picked up the car, they pointed out to me that a previous service with another business was done incorrectly, and how to spot this in the future. I don't know much about cars, so I appreciate that they took the time to give me a little education on how to keep my car in good shape for years to come. Would definitely recommend five star automotive if you want great service and reasonable prices!

Terrible place to get work done! Tried to over charge me on everything on my wives car! They wanted $625 for an A/C compressor that O’Reillys next door charges $300 for. Never coming back here again!

If I could rate these guys 6 stars I would! They went out of their way to fix an incredibly complex electrical problem while providing a loaner car so I could get to work. not only that they didn't charge me for all the extra labor and parts it took to figure it out. They are the best!

Awesome service and friendly mechanics! Went in for a front end alignment after my new tires wore down in just 3 months on the inside edges. Looked online for auto shops in the area and this shop had the best reviews and the most of em. Boy I chose right. These guys dont seem to try and add random things in to get you to pay more or anything like that. Very honest, blunt (in a good way), and friendly. They found my steering parts or whatever (i think it was a ball joint, tie rod, and something else) was damn near ready to have me in a wreck if i didnt get in there any sooner. They promptly called me to tell me that it was WAY more that needed to be done than a front end alignment, becase my safety was at stake. Mike Tucci was an great and friendly mechanic to work with. Would recommend this shop many times over. I dont have much experience with auto shops, so im glad i chose wisely based of the google reviews. Thanks Guys!

Brought my sick truck into them and before they did anything called me and explained what need to be done. When I picked it up it was running like new again and I got it back the next day. Very happy with the work and would recommend them to anyone.

I had my car in for repairs this week and the day after I had it in I received a call saying that there were mistakes made on my invoice. 5 star had accidentally overcharged. They made sure to refund me and I was told that’s just the kind of shop they are. The repair was still expensive and my car has been putting me through the ringer financially so every little bit back helps! would recommend this shop to anyone!

Only reason they're not getting a 1 star is because at least an employee helped me get my car onto a car dolly. This place wanted to charge me $200 more than any of the other places I called in the area.

Went in for an oil change- and told them I have a bad TPMS on one of the wheels because they were going to put air in tires and top off fluids as part of oil change. They were unable to remove the drain plug from the oil pan and after an hr I got a 40$ bill -35$ for “diagnostic” of bad TPMS which I told them was bad and 5$ for fluids… I went to Luckys in Hermantown and got my oil changed in 30 min for 70% of the price quoted by five star. Charge me 20$ for an hr u spend being unable to unscrew the plug but don’t say u diagnosed something because clearly another auto shop was able to remove the drain plug with no issue and you have not diagnosed anything that I didn’t know about. 40$ for a wasted hour of your incompetence
