16 year old car engine failed. They were very helpful. Set up pick up for salvage. Recommended having and inspection for a used car we were looking at. They were super helpful in so many ways!

I will DEFINITELY go back there if my car needs work. Everyone I talked to were really nice. They gave me an estimate to fix my car, but they were able to fix everything for less than what they quoted. My Subaru now runs great! That's another great thing about Govednik. They are the only certified mechanics in Racine that can fix foreign cars, like my Subaru. I seriously doubt that I'll take my car anywhere else. The people at this shop are honest, hard working and they know what their doing. Their prices, in my experience, have always been fair. Sometimes they're more than fair. This is the only shop I'll ever take my cars to from now on. I can't say enough great things about Govednik and the people who work there. If you need a mechanic you should DEFINITELY give them a call.

They pulled off a pretty major job in a short amount of time, and had me back up and running in less than two days. It ended up costing $2000 more than the quote. My vehicle has a mysterious big mark 3 inches by an inch and a half. they claim to know nothing about it. at first they said oh let’s have a look we have videos and pictures of every vehicle when they arrive. they go to find them and then they come back outside and say oh for some reason we don’t have any of your vehicles, of course not because they just went inside and saw them and then destroyed them, because it proved that my vehicle didn’t have that huge mark before it got there. after three days my husband called on the fourth morning to find out if they were going to give us a quote or not, and they hadn’t even looked at it yet. This place gets an absolute zero. My husband was told it needed new struts. He said ok,trusting that they knew what they were doing. I drove my mini van the next day and it sounded horrible. I was afraid that I would break down on the way back. They told be that they had test driven it and that everything was fine. I said no come and get in this van and I’ll show you. finally the owner agreed to do so to come for a short ride and even he admitted there were some terrible clunking and noises. Took it back in. They insisted everything was tight and in good condition I said no it’s not offered to take them on another test drive. Then they put it back up on the stilts and they decided that it needed links and strut ends. I asked him why there was a bubble in my tire and they said oh you’ll probably need struts in the back as well. Hello did you guys drive this thing at all? Were the struts needed. I don’t think so, not now, we looked and they had been replaced just 17 months previously at Palmen Motors. You guys told me palmen didn’t put all of the bolts back in the hold the plate for the transmission I talk to them about it they insisted that after they do the work on the vehicle, the work is inspected. My husband called you people told you precisely what we wanted a new I used or rebuilt transmission for our minivan year make and model you quoted one price. Then you didn’t get around to even looking at it for over a week had we known you wouldn’t bother to work on it for a week we would’ve taken it elsewhere, it cost us $800 for a rental vehicle well ours sat there getting no repair at all. not even having been looked at. And you guys didn’t call us back to say you weren’t looking at it. we would have taken it elsewhere had we been told the truth about what putting a rebuilt transmission in a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica minivan. We feel like we really got ripped off. Yes you called us and told us it was gonna be more at this point. We’re six and seven days maybe eight days in and my husband says oh OK. So yes, you did tell us you were way up charging us, but just being upfront about what it was going to cost and that you were not even going to look at it until we called and said hay what’s going on, instead of having huge cost over runs and obviously not test driving it because I don’t believe that it needed struts and it had the replace 17months previous the vehicle felt so wonky even I knew something was wrong, and could hear the clunking sounds. It wasn’t making those when it went in, but it certainly was when it came out which leads me to believe that Something was damaged and that’s why it was now making these absolutely horrible clunking sounds, you didn’t even notice but it actually needed rear suspension work. You also told us it now needed a front end alignment we had just had a front end alignment less than three months previous when we purchased new tires. so no I would never recommend for anyone to take their car to Govednik automotive.

I was wary taking my Jeep anywhere with it's multitude of issues to get fixed. The entire team at Govednik went above and beyond. Not only is communication great, the transparency of the entire process was incredible. I would not hesitate to refer friends and family to Govednik, and we'll definitely be returning customers in the future.

Govednik's looked over my whole car and gave me "recommendations". They didn't try to force anything. Then they took out the transmission and had it partially rebuilt in a couple days...with a warranty! Fast, honest, and did a great job for a fair price. And Bianca is awesome! She communicates and stays on top of things. She really helped make a big repair less stressful. Highly recommend them!

Exceptional service! My wife and I experienced serious engine problems while travelling from Virginia to Wisconsin and needed to immediately pull off the highway.
