Great people to do business with. I had them change the oil, rotate the tires and perform a scan to help diagnose an issue with our dashboard display. They did an excellent job at a reasonable cost. Highly recommend this shop.
I had my serpentine belts and rear brakes replaced. The belt situation was an emergency. Brian was able to get me in right away that day (a miracle in itself since I just showed up off the street). Bianca scheduled up my much needed brake job when I came back to pick up my car from my emergency repair. Everything was explained to me thoroughly and clearly. The work was done in the time that they said they would complete it, and the estimated prices were accurate. Any additional questions that I had about the repairs or basic concerns that I had about anything else on the vehicle were carefully explained to me. I was treated more than fairly and honestly. Thank you to all at Govednik Automotive for getting me back on the road safe and sound. I am happy to have done business with all of you!
I’m always pleased with the professional and direct approach of Govednik automotive. And I really appreciate the new billing app they use coupled with the helpful human ‘translation’ from Bianca at the front desk. I recommend this mechanic to anyone searching.

Excellent service. They handled everything insurance needed. Went over and beyond to make sure my car was better than new. Highly recommend this auto shop!

Loved the texted detailed estimates, invoices, and correspondence. Bianca makes this place work smoothly! Brian was great about talking through the repairs and double checking extra noise I had. So far so good, am happy with my car repairs, how quickly Bianca got me a tow on my last repair, esp when tow trucks were sparse with the below temp weather. Glad to have a good, honest and personable shop in my neck of the woods to be able to bring back when needed. 👍☺️

I found them to overcharge on parts. For example I found the exact same part a Gates water pump for a 2001 Ford f250 diesel 7.3l engine for 67 but their charging 250. I expect markup but 3.6 times. The same radiator for half the price their charging, the fan blade by Motorcraft is 117 their charging 311. The reviews is why I went there when my truck broke down in Racine. They wanted 2200 to replace radiator, fan clutch, fan blade, water pump and had 2 gallons of coolant. It wasn't the right type or brand of coolant because this truck requires Motorcraft gold. Did not look at hoses, tstat housing rust n leaking, I paid 128 for an inspection. Never going back plus my tow guy from Antioch said same thing about them. Dissatisfied n disappointed. Research your parts to compare actual cost versus what they charge.

Unfortunately, our cost for the parts listed on the estimate you were provided, is greater than what you have been able to find. I want you to know that I went through every one of our vendors to find the best price for you parts. I think it's great that you were able to have the parts shipped in for so little money. However, we do not like to order parts from online parts suppliers for many reasons - such as limited warranty, less information regarding parts, limited forms of communication & longer wait times. In addition, we enjoy being able to support our local businesses. Lastly, I would like you to know that our rates are based on Brian being able pay us competitive wages, as well as offer benefits - which most independent repair facilities do not offer. When we spoke in the office, you stated that you read our reviews and understood our rates based reviews alone - with no knowledge of our cost to keep business open, competitive wages or benefits that are offered to us employees. I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed and dissatisfied with your experience.
Very poor service my mother had a motor replaced and transmission in her truck she got it back had plugs hanging down while she was driving took it back it was for the transfer case and now the 4 whees drive dose not work they have poor communication and very poor work i would not let a car or truck leave with out looki g it over to make sure it was all right and after spending over 5000 get that fix transmission is still slipping and not shifting right will never go back there again

Jan 24, 2024Luke I am sorry to hear this. I am at a loss. I don't have a Luke Miller in my computer. What is your mothers name so I can look it up in my system. I am not sure why she wouldn't have brought the vehicle back in to have us look at it. All of our repairs have a warranty on them. So if you won't tell me her name at least tell me year, make and model to verify that this vehicle is in my system. So can also verify when and what repairs were done and when. Hope to hear from you soon. Please call the office so we can discuss this. 262-637-4449. Is your Mother named Lisa? With a GMC Sonoma. Because I did find that in my system from September of 2021 . She didn't have any issues with any wires hanging or or issues with her 4 wheel drive not working. she can back for 3 more visits after that. last time was in March of 2022.
Very professional. Explained to a T what needed to be done. Up front with cost and didn't hesitate. For someone that knows very little about car repair, I learned a lot. Thank you for putting me at ease.
