Let me start out with - the techs there are competent and punctual. I have no beef with individuals there or their capacity to work on cars. It's more a letter to FIRESTONE COMPLETE AUTO CARE inc/parent company on policy. Confusing experience. I took my car in for an alignment after having my tires replaced (I have lifetime). They finished in the amount of time they said - even a little sooner. What puzzled me is that they told me they couldn't adjust the rear toe because there were "rusted bolts". Something about how "we're not allowed to force rusted bolts" as an explanation was given to me. The result was that my alignment was not completed and I was given the keys. What kind of policy is that for a COMPLETE AUTO CARE business to have that they can't work on my car because of a rusted bolt? That's ENTIRELY in the realm of what a mechanic or service technician should be TRAINED to circumvent. Also, and this is far less annoying but equally as puzzling, the guy handing me my keys told me that the banjo bolt holding the brake line to the caliper was leaking due to it being "probably" loose. I asked him why they didn't just snug it up for me and they told me they can't touch it. THIS IS A BRAKE REPAIR facility and they couldn't tighten a bolt. Whatever, I did it when I got home, and I do appreciate at least that they told me. tl;dr - Sue happy people and lawyers have pretty much annihilated any ability and common sense freedom from the people who take care of our cars.

7-2-2020 Went here about 4 months ago, as I called another shop that had a mechanic and he told me to go here. I've gone there years ago and they were okay. They said that I need all this work done and charged me for inspecting my vehicle, which they never told me about either. Mostly brakes are a huge thing for me. Battery, 2 lights, sway bar, shocks, oil pan, oil change and alignment, as my 2 front tires were worn on the inside. But they aligned all 4's. I didn't know and only because the tow truck driver showed them to me. I had a flat and my spare had a flat. Wayne had tires picked out but he never went over them with me nor any warranties. So $80 each. $140 for both lights, including labor. Too high of price. Sway bar and shocks for over $700. That should've been replaced before I even bought the car. I had 2 oil changes because of the leaking oil pan. That didn't make any sense at all and they were going to charge me more until I said something. They were talking quite a lot, so not very busy at all. Was told to have my brakes replaced on a Sat. by Peter as they have more mechanics. That's almost $400. I can't believe it needs all of this as the car dealership just replaced the battery, tires and brakes before I bought it. I don't drive it that much and only around here. Went in one day and told to come back the next afternoon with an appt. time to get the oil pan replaced and he forgot about it. I should've left then. Not happy at all as I already had to put a starter in from some where else for almost $700 and my son and I waited hours for a belt. So 1500.00 for the rest and that's at the sale price. Good for only 30 days. 10-13-2020 Called and spoke to Brian as my battery is dead. He kept saying that it will cost me $100 just for diagnostics. Even with telling him that my battery is dead and won't even make any clicking sounds. Hate that I have to have it towed. They were opened until 6 but he said no mechanics were there to look at it. 7-18-2021 I set up an appt. online with this Firestone last night and got a confirmation email from them. I called this morning to verify it and Alex answered. He basically told me that there was no appt. and can't trust the online appt. app. That they were booked and only one tech. working. He suggested going to the one on Washington. I was so upset with that and I hung up on him. Not the way to treat a customer and this wasn't the first time I had problems with them.
