Do your oil change yourself if you can. Another business with shady tactics to up charge you and cut corners.

Okay story time because I am livid that I have to continuously struggle. Last February Alex Sery and I took our brand new (to us) used Kia soul (not my choice in car but Alex fell in love with it) 2020 into Take 5 Oil Change in baraboo, WI. We asked all the right questions and we told the gentleman working on the car, that the car was under an extended warranty and made sure that it was in compliance with Kia vehicles and Kia service. The guy laughed and said we work on these vehicles all the time. They changed our oil and oil filter and we left. Well we drove to Milwaukee to visit Alex's mom so that she could spend time with the baby, otw there we heard noises coming from the engine. We immediately took it into Metro Kia of Madison when we got back home. Took them over 3 months to diagnose the problem which was pieces of our oil filter that we just had changed apparently broken in our engine and that we would need a brand new engine. Now here's where it gets messed up... metro kia had the vehicle for like 3 months to diagnose the problem so Take 5 was like ohhh... On the back of the receipt we only have 30 days to examine the problem and Metro kia already took apart the car. My little family and I had to borrow 10,000 to fix and engine that one of them are responsible for and they will not compensate for it. When I called Metro to talk to the manager I was told she's either not getting my messages or the voicemails don't really work. Okay.... So then we finally get someone to submit a form to Kia corporate which metro said when this happens Kia corporate is the only one that would be able to help... Well Kia corporate says it's not their problem and to deal with Metro and Metro should be covering it as they are not affiliated. We are 10,000 in debt in falling credit scores and a new baby with a brain tumor. Don't worry I also received a letter from Take 5 stating that they just aren't covering it after having a conversation with a manager that said to Alex and I, well one of us is going to have to cover it. Well, no we are and I guess that means no Christmas for us until we can get our lives back out of debt. Oh!!!!!! And make sure when you buy a car you know what you're signing with an extended warranty, we also hired a lawyer and said they would help and we are in the process of doing arbitration but we can't seem to get a hold of anyone in arbitration as well. So please don't go to Take 5 and please do not whatever you do buy a Kia from Metro kia in Madison. But just so we are clear Take 5 did this to our vehicle first and will make sure not to help you when they destroy your engine. It's just not their problem anymore.
