I was on my way to Milwaukee, WI from Iowa, 5 hours through a 7 hour drive when my tire started losing air rapidly. I panicked and pulled to the nearest gas station to fill it up. When it did not retain air whatsoever I freaked out more then called Dan's Auto. I told them the situation and they got me in right away (Thank goodness!!)(SO polite, too). When I arrived they checked out my car they told me what my options were without trying to oversell me or give me the run around- they were very straight forward and honest about the state of my tire. Then the worker (I wish I knew his name!) said it would be about 30 minutes and he offered me a SODA (!!!) and the TV remote (!!) to put on whatever I wanted!!! The prices were SO reasonable, they were willing to speak with my dad on the phone who knew more than me (lol), and they were so kind and hospitable!!!! Having been in a similar situation previously (different car) and my only option was a wal-mart that tried to sell me 3 extra unreasonable tires, this place was seriously like a blessing. While I would never want this situation to happen again, if it does, I hope it would be here. THANK YOU!!!

I have to give a shout out to Dan's Auto Centre. I am a regular customer because their service and staff are very friendly and professional. Highly recommendable. They have gone out of their way to service my vehicles and have always been able to work through several issues regarding my autos.

I gave it one star because this company is in a country area in Mineral Point Wisconsin. They feel that they can charge you anything they want since they are the only one of two auto mechanic shops in town. I will not be going back to pay $600 for an alternator change out of a 2007 Ford Focus. Go to Wayne's, or Goodney's in Platteville Wisconsin.

We would have then asked you to have the vehicle brought in so we could check it out to verify the problem. For us, without seeing the vehicle, there is too much unknown. We always estimate high to cover any potential parts that we may be needed while doing said job. Our prices are justified by the quality parts we choose to install which allows us to offer a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty on all repairs.
