This is a great shop, I called them about work on my breaks and they were extremely accommodating and were able to give me an estimate for a very reasonable price and got the work done very efficiently, this is definetly one of the best auto repair experiences I've ever had, would absolutely recommend them.

Had my car checked for brakes at Midas and was not aware of how much it would be because I have not had them done by a shop in years. Midas quoted me over $500 just for the rear brakes and rotors, so I held out to call around for more quotes. Another shop was $475, so I called Tom at Total Auto for my last quote figuring it would probably be similar. I chose to call them because of the reviews and they were right. Tom (owner) answered the phone and was courteous from the get go and quoted me pricing for my rear brakes. I was shocked at the price and how much less expensive and competitive it was. He even told me he could get me in the next day. I called him back to quote the front brakes as well since Midas said that they would need replacing within the next year. Tom told me that they would inspect them just to check and let me know. He did not try to upsell me at all on the call. I confirmed the appointment for the next day and told him to do both front and back because the price was less than Midas wanted just for my rear brakes. I was a little concerned because of the old saying of “you get what you pay for”. In this case it was wrong, the service from Tom and Total Auto was phenomenal. Courteous, informative, communicative and for a small shop, very clean and organized. My car was completed within 2 1/2 hours of dropping it off. As a previous reviewer mentioned, no grease or dirt on the floor or steering wheel in my car. My car breaks smooth! I will definitely be going back and recommend them for this service. Oh, and as a side note, Midas said my rear brakes were worse than my front. Tom said that was wrong and the fronts needed replacing first, glad he checked.
