Wanted to charge me 700 dollars for spark plugs and ignition wires. When I drove home my car it was misfiring 10x worse. Then when I got to replacing the wires I found that they left a broken off piece of wire attached to the spark plug(which was impossible for me to remove myself). Which would explain why my car was misfiring worse after the diagnosis. I came in with an intact but malfunctioning wire and left with a completely broken wire. An honest shop would have told me what happened and gave me my car back in the condition that I brought it in.

Riverside Automotive is a an excellent auto repair shop! The mechanics there do very high-quality work for a reasonable price and get it done efficiently. It’s great to be able to take my car somewhere on the east side, and know that any problem will be diagnosed and repaired. I much prefer to sit in Riverside’s waiting room on Oakland Avenue, or to take a walk around the neighborhood, then to be way out on some large highway in the suburbs, waiting hours for the dealer’s mechanics to finish a costly repair job.

Our car unexpectedly broke down and this was the closest auto shop. The mechanics were super nice, polite, and started calling us with updates when it took longer than they initially expected. They really went above and beyond in customer service.

My daughter’s car recently broke down. I called Riverside Auto and Peter couldn’t have been nicer! Fast turn around and a fair price! I am happy to say that I will definitely send her there again.

Overpriced. They sell you things you dont need they say are broken that arent. Dont have to ask far to hear this from others in the neighborhood as well.

Based on your other reviews you are a hard person to please. We would appreciate that you don’t waste our time and repair your own vehicle if you are such a “car guy”
