Amazing place!
They took way longer than expected on my vehicle and repeatedly said it would be ready next week whenever I called them. The total labor hours on the invoice are only 24.5 hours, but it took them 40 days to finish. Additionally, I am extremely unhappy that they charged me an extra 3.5% of the amount I needed to pay for using a card as payment which they never told me there is a fee for using cards. Two stars for doing a good job on the body painting and cleaning the vehicle, but everything else is a thumbs-down.

Jun 23, 2023Kim, We sympathize with your frustrations over the delays. Once a vehicle gets dropped off, we disassemble the vehicle for repairs and often find damage that is not able to be seen with the vehicle assembled. We then order any additional parts that are needed to complete repairs. There are a number of delays that can occur any time we have to order parts but we always give our customers an estimated completion timeline based on the best information that we have available. We are relying on the information that we get from our vendors to be accurate as well. In cases like with your vehicle, we can have issues getting parts when we are told they will arrive, or they arrive damaged, or even we receive the incorrect parts. We do our best to keep customers informed of any delays, whether they are within our control or not. We are sorry if we did not keep you adequately informed. We have a signed authorization with your initials next to the line informing you of the 3.5% convenience fee on cards. We have signage posted in multiple places in our business stating that there will be a 3.5% convenience fee added to all card transactions by our card reader vendor. We do not receive any of that money, and as such we do our best to make sure our customers are aware of the fee so they can avoid it if they so choose. We include a line on the authorization to repair that informs you of the 3.5% fee, and ask you put your initials next to it.
Very pleased with the work they did with my tesla.
Kimberly was fantastic to work with. Once they started the repair they found a lower cost option for the fix and shared that option. The repair was perfect and work was done quicker than expected. Very professional and clean repair shop. Should I ever need more work done they will be my first call.

6 out of 5 stars for Carstar. I limped my Tesla Model S to CARSTAR after hitting a deer. Everyone on their team was friendly and responsive. Despite being busy with body work from a recent hail storm, they were able to provide me with a very reasonable timeframe and kept me up to date about any minor changes due to part delays. In the end, I was able to pick my car up by the original expected date. Already impressed by the quality of their work and great customer service, I was pleasantly surprised to see my vehicle had been cleaned inside and out prior to getting the keys back. Hopefully you don't need to use any body shop for your vehicle, but if you do I would absolutely recommend CARSTAR.

I usually don’t write reviews at all but the color painting they did was not good at all. It does not match. The first time, it was too bright. Had them redo it the second time and it’s still mismatched. I am not happy with this service at all. My sister took her car to Kolosso and they did a way better job on her car and I wish I didn’t take my car here. I don’t understand how another place can match the color way better than this place. Really disappointed with the results.

As we discussed, the tri-coat pearl white on your vehicle is somewhat difficult to match especially between a plastic bumper cover and a metal panel. Different materials do show color differently, which can be demonstrated on your car by comparing the front bumper and the fenders that show a mismatch and are all still factory paint. Our goal is always to provide a color match that is as good or better than the factory color match, and if you feel that we have fallen short of that we will gladly correct the issue.
Our Tesla had deer damage. While other centers were booked solid for 6 months, they got us scheduled in 2 months. We ended up leaving it there for a few more things that were missed, but they were very understanding, helpful, and courteous. There was also a lamp burned out in the door and they were kind enough to ship it to us because we live 90 mi away. I would definitely go there again for body work.

Took my new 2022 Tesla Model X (Midnight Silver Metallic) to them after I accidentally put a trailer through the rear bumper. Repairs took a little longer than expected (some of that was waiting for parts), but everything turned out perfectly. You'd never know I put a trailer through the rear bumper! The rear sensors were beat up in the accident as well and CARSTAR had no problems replacing them with new ones and re-establishing my parking-assist which I kept getting alerts about it not working after the accident. Terrific job overall and any Tesla owner should not hesitate to bring their EV to them. Thanks for the great work!
