S&L has the worst service department and especially employees working in it. My husband and I made the regretful decision of bringing my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee to their service department. I took out an extended warranty and since bringing it to S&L's service department for help my husband and I have been disrespected, purposely lied to, and over charged. WOMEN DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLES HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE A MAN THAT CAN ADVOCATE FOR YOU & WILL KNOW IF YOU ARE BEING OVER CHARGED! One of the most unfortunate aspects of S&Ls service department is that their employees are women and they have the audacity to belittle, undermine, and straight up screw over their customers. They charged me for a diagnostic alignment which is included (depending who you talk to there because they all lie and will do anything to overcharge you) and refused to refund me for it. They charged me twice for the diagnostic fee (lied that they charged twice until they couldn't get out of the lie). Charged me twice for my warranty deductible. My husband & I know several employees in other departments (every single other employee in the other departments are outstanding, if you need a recommendation don't hesitate to ask) and know my Jeep was torn apart. Rather than having optimal customer service and try a spark plug for the problem, lied to my husband that my Jeep was not apart and wanted to charge more for it. If I didn't have my husband, I would have had several hundreds of dollars in bills to pay because of over charging me. As for the employees, speechless. When my husband would call to ask for an update regarding my Jeep (because they would purposely not contact us, even though we had knowledge my Jeep was diagnosed) the service representative, Julie Adamski, would literally read the codes from the paper. Not tell us what is wrong and what needs to be done. She has absolutely no knowledge whatsoever on vehicles. Julie didn't even know how to get me a replacement key fob. Best yet for employees is the service department manager, Christina Pflugradt. She believes her office and surrounding department is a day care/after school play ground for her children. Her daughter was throwing a sticky thing at her office wall to see it stick and running around like it was a play ground. Extremely unprofessional. Her employees had to supervise her daughter for her while she talked to me (after Julie talked to her twice and she finally decided to talk to me). S&L is a wonderful dealership, don't mistaken that from this review. But when purchasing a vehicle, a customer wants/needs the reassurance that they will have satisfaction from the service department. Not question if they are being overcharged, manipulated, or lied to.
