Took my car in for an estimate. Ended up starting repairs without even calling me. Never had a shop not call me after estimate complete. Ended up breaking something during disassembly, charged me to repair it. Took 2-3 weeks to get car back. Messed up mounting door and had to bring back. Ended up messing up trim on rear door but claimed it was prior damage. No previous damage, but not worth dealing with not having primary car and dropping off/picking up. If you just want an estimate make sure and let them know immediately, they won't call you first. Response: If it was a total loss repairs would not have been approved at all. It was halted when I found out you were completing repairs when all I wanted was an estimate and my insurance company had to halt repairs. I'm just frustrated I did an after hours drop off assuming an estimate and not knowing it also would allow you to complete repairs. In future with any shop I will call to confirm my wishes so admittedly that was my mistake. However, you then broke a wiring harness, ordered the wrong part, then charged me 2 hours labor to fix it, with the process taking 3 weeks. Duct Tape makings where you tried to fix trim not cleaned etc. No quality control on remounting door leading me to have to work early to drop off to show a rep. I've had 3 times I've needed to use insurance for repairs over my lifetime, and the norm is a shop to complete an estimate, and confirm completing work or not.

Hi KG, you had an appointment for repairs after we'd already done an estimate and when you dropped off, you signed a repair authorization form allowing us to begin repairing your vehicle. Once we got into tearing down your vehicle for those repairs, it ended up being a total loss according to your insurance company. You wanted the vehicle back so we put it together as best we could for a vehicle deemed a total loss. It is a very common occurrence for parts to be broken or damaged during the tear down process because we are assuming they will be replaced with new ones during the repairs. We apologize for that being the case here but we did the best we could when the vehicle was a total loss. I had a scheduled appointment over 1 month in advance. I also had vehicle at there store 1 day in advance. They never worked on my vehicle on scheduled day. This was a vehicle used for my business.

Hi Jerome, when you dropped off, we ordered the parts and found there was going to be a delivery delay and called to inform you of the delay immediately. We don't always preorder parts but it looks like in this case we should have. You came to pick up your vehicle so you could use it while we waited for parts. The delayed pieces have since come in and we've called several times with no response. We try our best to avoid any potential delays in repairs but there are certain times when circumstances are beyond our control. Should be an option for zero stars. Promised a rental to be paid for- SUV equivalent- did not. job was way delayed due to their staffing problems so the car rental cost > 1,000$. for a compact car The extra rental costs were because of their short staff. Yes I should have had my insurance to include car rental, BUT the extreme cost was about their delays NEVER using Heppner's again

Hi Ted, you were told by both the shop manager and the Enterprise location before you dropped your vehicle off that we were covering the cost for the compact car and you agreed to that size rental. Furthermore, the delays in our shop were out of our control, we were waiting for additional damage to be approved by your insurance company for repairs, nothing had to do with staffing shortages on our end. We always encourage customers to add rental reimbursement to their policies because hidden damage inevitably causes delays with the repair. Not impressed with the tech who was working on our vehicle broke parts and proceeded to bill our insurance for their mistake.

Hi Becky, if we broke something during a repair process, we never bill the insurance company for our mistake, it is our responsibility and cost to purchase a new, unbroken part for the vehicle. If you are handicapped don't bother going to this location. According to their staff "parking is hard to come by" .. they use the handicap spots as well as the lane used for van ramps, for parking customer cars that they are currently working on. When I reached out to the company I just felt like I was getting lip service. I have canceled my appointment to have my hail damage repaired with their company and I'm choosing a different company. When I called their company to inform them that it was against the law to park in handicap spots without a tag or a plate. I waited two days and when nobody got back to me I called again. This is when I feel they just told me what they thought I wanted to hear. Joke's on them, I have a big mouth and a long memory. **To the owner of the Woodlane location, your general manager DID NOT reach out to me, I had to track him down. I called to speak to somebody on a Monday and by Wednesday of that same week I got no response so called again. So to me this speaks volumes that nobody seemed to care enough and that it was not a big enough issue to respond ASAP, so I had to call again to talk to somebody. I would have reacted differently if somebody had called the same day I had called. After talking to your GM I just felt like it was lip service so then I decided to leave the review.**
