Recently bought a Volvo XC70 and had a great experience with Bob. It was nice to leave his dealership having the registration taken care of and knowing I had a safe car to drive home. I’d recommend anyone looking for a Volvo to purchase from Peterson Repairs :)

Bought a Volvo S90 from Bob. Flew over from Michigan, and Bob was great the entire way! Cannot recommend strongly enough.

Peterson Repairs (Robert Peterson aka Bob) is accommodating while you're paying him second to none. UNTIL! Not long after importing to Australia a 63 Chevy truck. it wasn’t long after our mechanic and I started finding all these mechanical faults! Especially disappointed after paying for all new mechanics and being guaranteed it was “good to go, a great daily driver”… Bob’s exact words! Bob takes no responsibility whatsoever for his work! Now the truck has been off road for the past four weeks (or I could have taken Bob’s hillbilly attitude just drive it… like he bragged test driving it over 80mph, with the differential alone was out by 2 inch's, oil leaking from power steering, transmission and differential), I could easily driven it and damage a new engine, transmission and differential, now I am waiting on new parts from the USA at 3x the cost that will take another twelve weeks plus labour to just fix all his paid work replacing parts that are over 30 years old back onto YES a new engine, reconditioned transmission and differential! Very disappointed having to fix all these problems due to your poor quality mechanical work Bob! Very disappointed Australian Customer! BUYERS BEWARE! Dont trust his word. I would post pictures, if I could. I bought a car 2 weeks ago. His exact words were "good to go", "has new junkyard motor." The car had started to act up, so I changed the oil today. There was metal shavings all over, coolant in the oil. Oil was red due to coolant, like I said if I could post pics I would. 90 day warranty on the car, but it had expired becuase the people who do all his work gave it to Bob. Instead of the purchasers, regardless of when its purchased.( I asked for paperwork for the "new motor" and the work that it received,") but he failed to show it. But, I trusted him. (Shouldn't have) He had the car on his lot for more then 90days, only put 200 some miles on it, in that time. Not much of a test for a "newer" motor if you ask me, expecially if you "trust your work and or workers". So he gave me a pathetic 2 days 200 mile warranty. If he trusted his work like he loves to say and comrades so much, then why not give the trusted 90 day warranty to his customers? Weird huh??I feel screwed over, any good dealership would do what they know is right here. How Pathetic! I wish anyone the best of luck if they decide to use this place. But, better places to shop around!

Its taken over 18 months, plus over US$6700 to repair all his mechanical mistakes, which I originally trusted him to repair in the first place. It has now cost me to date well over triple the original repairs undertaken by (a self proclaim glorified mechanic NOT) finally all these mechanical negligence has been repaired, the 63 C10 can now be safely driven.
