I have personally reviewed your estimate and I can attribute this misunderstanding to very poor communication by my Service Writer to you. Replacing a water pump on your vehicle is a very intensive job with a lot of possible variables and that should have been communicated. Normally in that instance we give a range of pricing from just replacing the water pump at $2100 to water pump and all engine timing components around $5,000. The service writer you dealt with is fairly new at his job, but that is no excuse and I apologize. I thank you for your feedback, this has given us a valuable teaching moment.
