I’ve been coming here for repairs for a while now and people have always been extremely helpful and friendly. They also help to explain issues and repairs well (as someone who doesn’t know cars too well) to where I can understand what it is that needs repairing.

Customer service was phenomenal!!!! Had a minor problem, but took the time to do a great job in the most effective way possible.

I recently moved from Indiana and needed to get my car to pass emissions. After getting it checked out by another business in Cedarburg, I decided to give Hometown a try. We thought that my catalytic converter would need to be replaced ($1700 but still $400 less than the other place. After dropping my car off expecting this charge, Hometown checked my emissions again and it passed. They called with the news that it passed and gave me the option to still get it fixed. While I'll still need to get it fixed down the road, I appreciate that Hometown was okay with giving me the choice of not fixing it. As someone who doesn't know a lot about cars, I love the fact that Hometown had my interest in mind and didn't fix what I anticipated needing and saved me $1700. Will definitely use this as my primary mechanic shop.

I have never done business with them before but I will be now. Called them 20 minutes before they were closing and told them about a big shield hanging off the bottom of my daughter's car that we had been trying to get off. Told them she had to drive to Chicago that night to get her sister at the airport and they told us if we could be there in 10 minutes they would put it up and look at it. Very kind people. They got it off and even checked the air in her tires knowing she was driving to Chicago. Will definitely be back and my family also. Excellent service!

Hometown Car Care was recommended to me by a coworker, and I am so glad I called them! I had a sudden problem with my exhaust sounding really loud and called to ask if I could have a tech look at my car. Not only did they get me in that same day, the tech, after my call, had a feeling which specific part I needed and pre-ordered it so it would be at their shop! Their techs also were able to fix my car in about an hour, simply astounding! I really had planned to come back another day figuring they were busy…nope, they really did me a solid. If you need a place to go where you’ll get treated like you are the most important customer, where they won’t lead you around, and where you can literally go where “everybody knows your name,”take your automobile here. I will be back for future service!
