In the 3 years I have taken my vehicle to Toyota of Brookfield service department ,I must say I am pleasantly surprised each time I take my vehicle there. Friendly and the best service department I have ever dealt with.
Updated: The GM stepped in and made sure they fixed it and gave me a 1/2 off refund. I'm very happy now so I'm updating it from 1 star to 3. This was my Old post: My car ran great until I started bringing it here. The service people are very nice but the mechanics can't get my car fixed. They replaced the coolant temperature sensor and I've had to go back 5 times since and the check engine light is still on today saying its the coolant temp sensor. YES 5 times because the check engine light keeps coming back on. They said, they put in the wrong part the first time, then, that it was a defective part, they said this 2 different times. Then they drove it 168 miles without asking me if they could, they said to make sure the check engine light doesn't come back on. When I picked it up the 5th time, the car made a sloshing noise. I called and told Joel this, he said he'd ask his master mechanic and call me back. He never called me back. I went elsewhere and they filled the coolant. All it needed was a top off and they just ignored me. Today for the 6th time since I brought it there in SEPTEMBER this is DECEMBER! the check engine light is on again. They obviously can't fix my car. A great running car that I never had an issue with until now. Now they don't answer my phone calls or emails.
Horrible customer service, I called to hold a car, they said I have an appointment at 7:45pm and one hour before my appointment to check the car, they decide to text me and tell me that they sold the car, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!wasting my time, do not buy from this place
Efficient and helpful
This dealership scares you into outrageously expensive maintenance/repair costs, then holds it against you in the car report! Be careful they will try to take advantage of anyone, anyway they can. A classic Steelership move. They quoted me $5900 for oil seepage repair… come to find out other Tacoma owners (with the exact same issue) were quoted $3200-$4000 by their dealer. I’ve previously had good experiences with “Josh Dale” from the service department. I didn’t have Josh as my advisor for the past two visits. I would recommend taking your Toyota elsewhere for quality service.
We recently purchased our van at this dealership, which was okay. However, I am skeptical of their service center. I recently had service done for the first time here. All the alerts are still lit on the car that I need service. They either did not do the maintenance or forgot to clear the notifications on the vehicle. It makes me think the former. It does look like they changed the windshield washer fluid. It freezes as soon as it is sprayed on the windshield and comes out clear instead of blue. It seems like it is just water. I remain skeptical....I have dealt with toyota for 20 years, and the first time I have ran into this kind of service.
Bill P. Was very helpful. Overall a good experience. We took both of our cars here the same day. Call for an appointment a few days ahead.
Daniel Erickson (assistant service manager) and Greg (shuttle driver) were polite and professional. They took care of me on a stressful day.
