The guys here at MIDAS really saved me in a pinch. I was moving my daughter into ST. Michaels college. After a long idle my car became basically inoperable. Engine skipping and misfiring really bad. All the dash lights were on. I was only In town for one night. I was leaving the next morning for the 250 mile trip back to Massachusetts. I limped my car over to MIDAS, and explained my nightmare scenario to them. Instantly I could tell they had compassion for my situation, and genuinely wanted to help.They took me in and got me rolling the next day agianst all odds. I couldn't have had a better experience at a garage anywhere. Joe Warner, and David Lang are stand up guys, and genuinely just want to help get you back on the road. I am truly grateful for these gentlemen at MIDAS in South Burlington. They are all amazing techs and actually care for their customers. Id give them 20 stars if I could. They are all A+ technicians. Thank you soo much guys! I appreciate you all more than you'll ever know!

I brought my truck in for exhaust repair, to this South Burlington location back in January 2023. They performed this whole inspection of all the systems which i appreciate, but i did not ask for and was not informed about in advance. Then they convinced me to let them do extensive work on the brake system. When i picked up my truck, the brakes were really soft so I brought it back. When I picked it up a second time, the parking brake was completely disconnected, so i had to leave it with them another day and then when i picked it up a third time the parking brake still was not tight. Finally since i had to drive over an hour, each way, each time i went to try to pick it up, i had to fix the brake myself. A few months later and I am realizing that the $250 exhaust repair was also not completed properly. Definitely will find another shop that will focus on the issue at hand rather than trying to sell me on all these other things. The guys were friendly but the work is not up to par. Edited to add response to owner- was definitely this location check your records better.

Spent $1400 for brake work last October and brakes squeaked continuously afterward. Took it back twice last fall. Jeff was the guys we dealt with. First time he told us they didn't squeak even though we heard the brakes squeak when the mechanic drove it back into the lot. Took it back again this Spring and they told us our brake calipers were frozen when they originally did the brakes, but they just "pushed them up". Gave us another $1200 estimate. It did not make sense that they wouldn't have told us, last fall when they did the brake work, that our calipers were bad so they could charge us for replacing those too. Wouldn't it be dangerous not to inform a customer of inoperable brake calipers? These folks must think their customers are stupid. We obviously didn't believe them so took it to the Subaru dealership. Calipers are just fine, but the brake pads they put on were the problem. Brake pads changed, squeak is gone. These people are absolute liars and probably not qualified to be working on your car. TAKE YOUR CAR ELSEWHERE and protect yourself and your wallet.

I went in to have them check a strange noise in my Tesla before continuing a road trip. Although they don't typically work on Teslas they were willing to take a look and confirm that it was not a dangerous situation and sent me on my way without a charge. Great service!

There was a staffing problem and the guys thought they couldn’t get to my car that day. Instead of sending me away without service, they came together as a team and got my car done. Every single person I spoke to was patient, kind and friendly…even at the end of an incredibly busy day. These guys are amazing!

Rust is a terrible problem in the North Eastern US. Midas has an undercoat spray that soaks in, kills the rust that is there, and repels it in the future. Because they recommended it when I first arrived, and because they explained if I touch it up every 6 months it will keep my car as rust free as possible considering all the conditions, my car is 99% rust free. That’s a feat! Thank you Midas! I love my car and want it around for as long as possible!

Great customer service from Kyle. Explained in detail (and easily understandable language for someone who doesn’t know cars) the recommended services for my car and was friendly. I got a call with costs before any additional services were done to my car.

I made an appointment to get my AC charged & oil changed before a road trip but they didn’t have it in the books when I showed up! But they took me anyway! I sat and watched a great group of mechanics and managers operate at the top of their game while my car was being worked on. Great experience, thanks guys!
