I have an older collectible Porsche that needed a windshield replacement. The windshield is in a rubber gasket that is not glued or bonded into the frame and a simple instal. When I called a woman said they are not equipt to do the replacement. Who pressed why, she said they dont have the equipment. That is a bizarre answer, as there is no equipment needed, just a couple hands. If they dont have the glass, I get it, but I can do it myself, but prefer not to. Why a non logical answer to my sincere request.. I have a lot of vehicles.. I will not be taking them to Portland Glass of Dover after that nonsense..

Great company, they always give us quick, professional service at a reasonable price.
I needed a new ceramic glass window, custom cut, for our wood stove because the glass pane was broken. Of course that’s essential in the winter. I heard that all technicians were at a commercial job site. So, they would have to fit it in. I got a call that the glass was ready a few hours later, and I picked it up in the afternoon. The wood stove worked again in the evening. Great speedy work!

Efficient service! Recalibrated all my vehicle's controls, reapplied my inspection and other stickers and left a clean car. Highly recommend.

After getting my appointment cancelled/changed three times by Safelite, I was able to get my vehicle in right away for a winshield replacement here at PG of Dover. The staff, specifically Nicole, was very pleasant and accommodating. They did a wonderful job and my car was ready an hour. 10/10 recommend!
