Have used Northwood garage a few times for various "Services" always completed in a timely, courteous & professional manner. Would reccomend!
I made an appointment 3+ weeks in advance to have springs replaced on my pickup. When I arrived on the schedule day I was told that they wouldn't or couldn't do the work and that I should take my vehicle to a spring repair shop located 1 hour away. I am baffled as to why I was not told this when I made the appointment or in the intervening 3 weeks. A huge and disapointing customer service lapse.

May 23, 2023First off let me say I'm sorry you were inconvenienced. Secondly, we referred you to a spring shop that has same-day turnaround, and as I explained, we only get deliveries from them once a week (on Fridays). Without looking at the springs we would have no way of knowing which spring, or how many springs were broken, so you still would've been waiting a week+. This was a simple oversight by a new employee, and I'm sorry you feel so strongly that you think it warrants a one-star review. We strive to keep our customers' best interests at heart, and all I can do is apologize for the inconvenience.
Didn't repair a broken brake line quoted 540.. for 2 brake lines . left with a 1400 dollar bill. My girlfriend picked up truck Friday before Christmas before the big storm drove down rte 4 toward portsmouth pulled into work no brakes. She drove back to strafford late Friday with only an ebrake no brake pedal.
This is the only place my fiancee and I bring our vehicles for service or repairs. They may not be the cheapest in the area, but I know I can trust them and their work is outstanding. They're very honest, up front, and will explain and show you exactly what they're doing with you vehicle. We're loyal to the professionals at Northwood Garage, for sure.

The staff is friendly and the garage is welcoming and clean. We have been taking our family fleet (4 cars with our driving children) there for years. Dan is great at explaining what is needed and why and what can safely wait until next time. On the few occasions when something was not right, they corrected the issue quickly and professionally and adjusted my bill, if needed, accordingly. While they are not always the least expensive option, their pricing is more than fair for the quality of service received and, most importantly, they stand behind their work.
