I am new to the area and was looking for a good and honest mechanic for my 2001 Toyota. So happy that I found these guys. I needed a timing belt and a water pump and they were very helpful.

Avoid using this mechanic. I had been a customer at this location since prior to it being bought out by Arthur and renamed to Matrix Auto. (Previously known as Steve King). Arthur and staff were friendly and amicable at first but after a year or so in business have become unprofessional, conniving & rude to their loyal customers. There are various issues that have occurred with my car and many times have visited the shop to have issues “fixed” which often times resulted in having to bring the car back after short time since they were not fully fixed. Most recently I needed a state inspection. The inspection failed for tires and a tail light bulb out. I shopped around and had found tires at a local tire shop for $60 less. Arthur being a business man and focused on money rather than continued fostering of customer relationships would not honor the $60 price difference for the tires. I ended up having my tires done at the local tire shop for $60 less. Since I was charged for my inspection at Matrix Auto I went back with new tires installed at the lower price and had asked them to replace the light bulb and re-inspect the car so I could obtain my inspection sticker. I waited in the waiting room and was told that my car would now not pass inspection as a plastic cover for the taillight now needed to be replaced and was quoted over $300 for this piece. I asked why this wasn’t shared the first time upon failing inspection and they had said “sorry we didn’t really notice it.” I can tell you that if I had gotten my tires fixed at Matrix Auto that the new surprise charge would not have come up. Arthur had proven time again that he does not value his customer service and is just in business to make money. I highly recommend using another mechanic for any car needs.
