I just stopped in because I got an alert on my car telling me my tires were low. They were kind enough even though they were on lunch break to bring my tires up to the correct PSI

In December car was misfiring. Brought it to Gurneys. Rather than changing spark plug (#3 misfire) they changed ignition coil. OK. Fine. More than I was expecting to pay OF COURSE. Also had oil change and tires rotated and balanced. Barely a month later ABS sensor is on. I figured I’d bring it back to Gurneys to check sensor because they HAD JUST worked on it. Of course it’s the sensor BUT the axle ‘is also rusted’ they say…needs to be replaced (they didn’t see this four weeks ago)?1300 dollars please. Just replace the sensor. They don’t recommend that. ‘Then don’t do anything,’ I said. I picked up my car and the right light parking lamp is suddenly malfunctioning. Really? I gave Gurney’s a chance but I can’t recommend them. Here’s a hint. Help the customer. The world is only getting more expensive.

Hi Mark, Thank you for the feedback. I am sorry about your frustrations with your vehicle. Thank you for acknowledging we repaired you vehicle on your first visit. The ABS light and sensor issue is totally unrelated to the work we performed that corrected your miss fire on your first visit. The abs light coming on is because the abs sensor itself is not functioning properly, and requires replacement, the sensor works in conjunction with the tone ring on the axle ( which is rusted) which is why we recommend replacing the axel when you do the sensor. I know we sent you a report with pictures showing the tone ring. We would of not noticed the tone ring last time in as we were not looking for a ABS problem. Lastly the parking light is a totally different system that we did not work on. The vehicle is 15 years old. This business is one of the best in Nashua. They are friendly and courteous. They keep in touch and let you know what is up with your car and recommendations. Their pricing is very fair also.

Excellent, fast service. State inspection is cheaper than advertised if you give them your contact info, and didn't fail for any un-necessary work State inspection took a little less than an hour, and they have free Wifi and a nook to sit & work in. 10/10, will definitely be coming back here again next year!
