I can't say enough wonderful things about 3 ponds automotive!!! The staff at three ponds automotive has gone above and beyond to assist my young adult son in purchasing a car. They have stopped him from making bad car investments by taking the time to do thorough inspections before purchase. We are new to the area and left behind our auto mechanic of 40+ years, so finding an equally reliable, fair and honest new mechanic shop right down the road has been a blessing.
Three Ponds tried to charge me $868 for a repair that I didn't need. They saw I had a decent car, and figured they could rip me off. Very Shady! PS. There was No oil leak. You Lied. You tried to schedule me for an $868 repair that I didn't need. Don't Trust Three Ponds Automotive!

Mar 23, 2024You were not "tried to be charged" $868 for a repair, you were advised your car passed inspection, however a oil leak, that if you decided to move forward with, would cost $868. You were charged $45 for a state inspection, which is the standard price. Please have the decency to be honest with your review, rather than fabricating a false story of your visit. Very shady of you indeed. PS. You do have a oil leak at the filter housing. Ask anyone in town about our honesty and integrity if you are questioning it. Sorry you had a knee jerk emotional reaction upon receiving news about your decent car having a oil leak. If you would like to see it or discuss your issue with the owner in person (which you had a opportunity to do so at the time of appointment, but rather choose the internet to air your mistaken grievances) feel free to call the shop and we can show you the leak and discuss this in person like adults.
Very upfront, honest, dependable, friendly, and reasonably priced. We've consistently had very good experiences here.
October sucks because I am a year older and it is car inspection time. While I still gained a year, Chris and the crew made this years inspection as pleasant as this activity can be without a car payment. 😃
I've been taking my vehicles to Three Ponds Automotive for over five years and it's time to write a review. I highly recommend this business. I get accurate diagnosis of any mechanical problems and they always suggest an appropriate fix. They don't oversell you on anything. Routine vehicle servicing is inexpensive; complicated problems are managed well. I am always satisfied with my car (or van) when I have Three Ponds work on it. In a single word, these folks are trustworthy. You can't go wrong bringing your car, van, or truck here.
