Brought my vehicle in for a state inspection. Told it wouldn't pass because the rear lower control arms were "dry rotted." Asked for the old parts that were replaced and there is barely surface rust on them. They had no problem taking my hard earned $366 for work that didn't need to be done.
MacDonald Motors has serviced my vehicle for seven years. My Taurus was first purchased by my uncle and then bequeathed to me. They've always been attentive to maintaining its working condition and safety.
Getting an appointment is difficult each time I’ve tried. My most recent was two weeks out. When I arrived they took in two walk up customers! Perhaps there is a schedule issue here due to walk up customers? Left car for the day, they called 5 mins before closing to say if you can get here you can pick up. What!? I live 20 mins away.
Can’t say enough about this place. Broke down on last day of vacation. 2 days from home and even though they were busy they went out of their way to get or vehicle fixed the same day.
