While I was in the process of relocating to New Hampshire, I drove by Reflex Tuning and noticing they service VW and Audi vehicles, I stopped to talk to the owner about possibly having our VWs serviced there. After I returned to the house we were selling in Connecticut, I asked a local automotive parts supplier who is a VW and Audi enthusiast if he had heard of Reflex Tuning in New Hampshire. His response was "they are the best place to have your VW or Audi serviced". We have our three VWs serviced at Reflex and consider it the best decision we have made concerning he maintenance of vehicles. Heather and her crew provide the best service and are always on top of any issue that may be an issue in the future. I took my car in for a regular service plus new wipers and a tire rotation and balancing. I received an email with pictures showing some oil leaking caused by a failed component plus pictures of everything else they checked. The failed part was in stock so I had it replaced and my car was ready the same day. Always a pleasure to do business with the team at Reflex Tuning.

May 23, 2017Thanks Mario! We will keep your TDI running well for a long time to come!
First I will say always get competitive quotes for a job so you can better understand who is trying to rip you off. Didn't purchase anything because I was fortunately diligent and cross checked pricing. Spoke with the owner about options on servicing a 2013 Jetta TDI's DPF and emissions system and was quoted at 2500 for the job but this conversation expanded into what other services the car might need and was told flatly "Expect to pay minimum of 10k for related services that this vehicle might need." (IE timing belt (similar cost to the DPF , maybe suspension, etc) I replied with "It is hard to justify that level of cost personally when invested into it was 5400 upfront in 2020 pre price hike." The owner's response was "no you shouldn't think like that think of the money it would take to invest into a newer vehicle plus the work it would need. " (Frankly that is the way you should think because cars can be bought for cheaper than the 10k to fix this one) Then was told expect to pay "5k a year for servicing to keep it on the road". Some competitive quotes i received. The one I chose to go with at 3k for timing belt plus DPF at KMH Motors Timing belt only at local shop Alewife Auto 850$ Timing belt in a 2013 Jetta's case means replacing associated pulleys and rollers along with the belt itself rather than just the belt. Do not go here and cross check your service quotes if you are. Forgot to add the owner wanted 500 for bring the car in and another 500 for diagnosis. So 1000 to look at it as "a POST-purchase inspection" AGAIN!!!!

Apr 23, 2024I will copy the same email I sent you. For context, you have owned the car for awhile and had not had to do any major repairs or any maintenance. The car has almost 200k miles on it and is over 10 years old. " I apologize if my intentions during our conversation did not come across the way I thought they did. We are not the cheapest. Probably the most expensive, because our repairs and services are done correctly and we actually care about you and your car. Most of the time our parts list are twice as long than your average repair shops, because there is always way more needed to properly complete any repair. The cars we service and repair do not have issues. People enjoy having us service their cars because they see how well they drive, how reliable they are, and how transparent we are with everything we do. We see the quality of work from all around, especially the dealership. We are constantly cleaning up other peoples messes. When I was mentioning the costs your car could need. I wasn't saying that is how much the check engine light and timing belt service was going to be. Based on the information you gave me, you said the place you are bringing it to never recommended any major service. It sounds like it is due for much more then the timing belt. I say these things because everyone of these cars is the same. They all require the same upkeep and repairs. If there are no records prior to you purchasing it. There are going to be areas that need attention. Maybe not all at once, but it's your right to know. It is unfair to you, and all vehicle owners who are having their cars serviced by someone who does not have your best interest in mind. If that timing belt breaks on you. That's not your fault. It's the person who never recommended it to you. You trust your mechanic to keep your car safe and reliable. So, again I do apologize if my intentions came across differently. The last thing I would want to see, if you have that one repair done somewhere, and there are more issues lurking on the horizon that no one tells you about. We see it all the time, someone pays thousands to have their car fixed. Then we see it, and it still has issues from that previous repair. On top of that, the car needs a lot more attention in many areas. If the owner knew that before, maybe they wouldn't have fixed it, and could have made a better decision if they had all of the facts to start with. It's important to know the whole picture to give you the choice when making the decision on how you want to go about fixing your car. " For customers with vehicles that are older and have a lot of miles on them. It is important to know that driving a car for years is not free. For those who never service their cars, go to quick lubes, and just do oil changes. We are not the shop for you. That is not taking care of your car. It will have problem and breakdowns. We are here to keep the cars on the road, prevent you from having to replace it and have a huge car payment. If you are not spending .15-.25 per mile for service and repairs, then that number accumulates, and the car will need it eventually in one lump sum. I have been doing this for over 17 years, and these numbers are facts. The cost to drive any vehicles is much more than the car payment, fuel, registration, and insurance. We are here to educate our customers, make their cars safe and reliable. Like I said, Reflex serviced vehicles will just keep going without issues. We are not the shop for everyone, if you do not want to take care of your car properly, the dealership is actually the best place for that. They never tell you anything, they never recommend anything, and everything is always a surprise. Some people like that, but we do not want to service cars that have not been taken care of in that way. Cheaper is never better.
Amazing service at this local female owned business . I will be back for all maintenance needs.Love how they send photo updates and you can follow along almost live with the photo updates. Highly recommend for all VW and Audi needs.
Great customer service and communication. Heather kept me informed regularly. They went over the car with a fine-toothed comb. This was my first experience with Reflex Tuning and I'm looking forward to a long relationship.
very detail orientated, They have allot of pride in what they do.
Grateful for Heather and the incredible team at Reflex Tuning taking such great care of my car.
