Did a super job, same day on my brakes, even got a nail patch on a tire they caught. Great shop ! 👌

Great trustworthy service, they always explain things thoroughly to make sure I know what I’m paying for, and are honest about what I don’t need to do. I’ve been taking my car there for years, and have always been impressed with the work that they do!

My husband and I were on our way back home this afternoon (9/12/23) 3 hours from Kansas City when our low tire light came on. I went to the Internet and found this shop about 3/4 of a mile from where we were. The owner could tell we were weary, got us in quickly, an employee repaired the tire, and we were back on the road inside of 30 minutes. Great service with a smile. Five stars!!

Excellent customer service turned my experience around. Things got off to a rocky start due to my car being towed late at night to the shop and me not knowing the door was blocked. When I called to get my car looked at, the call didn't go too well and I posted a negative review. When Brad saw the review, he took the time to apologize and take steps to make sure that not only were they able to help me quickly and get my car repaired, they changed my whole attitude from being upset to being really pleased. He even let me know some things about my specific model of car that I need to look out for to ensure I avoid common issues with it. I will likely be returning in the future.

Debated on whether or not I’d do this but after sharing my story with about 5 different people and getting the same reaction I feel like it might be good to have this review on here for people who use reviews to choose a business like I do. Right now the reviews on here are stellar and this is exactly why I chose these guys. Here’s why they get two stars from me. I got a car that needed new brakes. They were getting soft plus the car has 75k on it so I knew it was about that time. I called these guys and they told me they were about a week out. Dropped my car off early-ish in the morning and got a call 5 hours later with the total if I want to proceed. Quoted me just shy of $1,050. This had me floored. I’ve had my brakes done countless time with other vehicles and I’ve never paid more than $400. My obvious thought is something else was wrong. He clarified that this was for all four pads as well as rotors. I asked what was wrong with the rotors. He told me they always replace rotors when doing pads. Are they damaged? - No. So… again, why are we replacing the rotors? No explanation. I pushed back and said no thank you, please replace the pads only. He puts me on hold and comes back a moment later to confirm that no, they will not replace pads only. Why not? His reply : “if we don’t replace the rotors you’re gonna grind down the pads and have brake dust and you’ll be back in here in 3 weeks with the same problem.” I came and picked up my car and called another shop. They confirmed for me what I already knew. You do not have to replace rotors when replacing pads unless they are damaged , which they said they were not. The new shop took my car immediately and took a look and found heavy rusting on the front rotors. They offered to replace all the pads only if I wanted but recommended to do the front rotors based on the damage. I said quote me for everything and they did it all for $750. I have no doubt these guys had the best interest of my car in mind by refusing to replace pads without rotors. Problem was they didn’t have my concerns in mind at all. Just to reiterate - you do NOT have to replace rotors when replacing pads. Full stop. If you want to make that recommendation, great, but refusing this basic service was wild. This is not to mention another shop did the same work for $300 less - and no - it was not the parts, it was in fact the labor and I have the invoice to prove it. Two stars because the people I spoke with were nice and professional. Not mad at you guys - but this experience was not good and people should know this is your stance before coming to you to do any work in their vehicle.

Driving by and seeing their "pumpkin spice break pads sign is my favorite part of the year"

These guys are great. Several months ago I had a lot wrong with my car, it wasn't starting for one, they fixed everything. Then yesterday out of nowhere my car completely died (i was expecting very bad news this time), they allowed me to tow it right to them, and this morning they fixed it (a ground cable issue), gave it back to me, and didn't charge me anything. I had to write a review. (This is the 39th St. location. I've never been to the other locations.)

This place always makes me feel comfy and taken care of. They are super honest. They work with me on what can be fixed, what can wait, and even told me when my car was not worth the work it needed. Huuuuuuge money saver. Plus sometimes they have a cute pup in the shop. I also love the location, I can drop the car off and explore downtown :)
